  • de mis peliculas favoitas

  • The movie is divided in two states of mind. Lynch film's story.

  • This appears to be a drama film to me, yet it is considered a thriller film.

  • the best naomi watts performance, period.

  • david lynch is so brilliant...this movie is amazing and after watching it several times i actually understood it finally and that's what made me love this movie even more...it's so dark and sexy and confusing...just BRILLIANT!!!!!!

  • everyone to leave the cinema b4 the film was finished...normally i would give a film of this sort a 9 or 10/10 because i love film noir with a good sexy story....however because it was so confusing and just totally lost the plot at the end..i give this film a 5/10.

However i would like to see it again it was a not bad film despite all the confusion in between.

  • i remember seeing this at the cinema...

when i entered the cinema..it was litterally packed to the rafters....

during the course of the film..i could see people slowly leaving the cinema shaking their heads..by the end of it...more that 90% of the audience had left the cinema...i actually stayed to the end.

My overal thoughts on the films was...it was good, well made, very film noirish and retro also very sexy too...but unfortunately it was very confusing and i think that is what prompted..

  • some parts of this movie was so fcking confusing... but overall it was definitely unique and great, Naomi Watts acts brilliantly in this, there is girl-on-girl (lol) and just a real sinister, edgy feel the entire movie, and also a beautiful score.

  • fucking brilliant, all i can say

  • Grandisima OBRA MAESTRA

  • I was watching this movie at night! suddenly, i saw someone standing in front of my room! I screamed: HOLY SHIT!!! and nearly hit my cousin who was wrapped in a blanket! haha! it is kinda creepy when these things happen!

  • This was playing on cable TV when I checked into my hotel room. It drew me in. I had to watch it, even though I had little idea what was going on. I recommend to watch it fresh, before someone explains it to you.

  • I to tell you... One night I sat up watching this trailer. Exactly at the end of it, my desk-lamp flickered and died... everyone who is into david lynch movies understands why I almost shit my pants in horror.

  • I REALLY understand. I was once watching Eraserhead and my phone started ringing... Not as horrifying as that, but still! :D

  • aoch. pretty freaky.

  • i saw this late one night on tv, it was really innocent then it slowly turned dark, i was left when it finished like: holy shit that was insane!

  • This movies seems like the 2nd project of "lost highway" (david lynch's previous movie) similiar case with "pan's labyrinth" and "devil's backbone" (guillermo del toro)

  • correct. i'm glad you also noticed. however, I believe lost highway and mulholland Dr. are much more independent movies than the 2 G. del Toro pieces. Pan's labyrinth and devil's backbone are really like variations and nothing more (they are both masterpieces nonetheless) but MD and LH are 2 totally different kind of puzzle for me, with all the lynch trademarks of course which obviously makes them alike. that's a shame inland empire turned out to be so lame... that's just me...

  • I believe,i'm not the only one.I'm just one of the biggest lynch's fan.Anyway, there are few similiarities between both film:

    1.1 character-2 persons(Balthazar Ghetty-Bill Pullman.Lost Highway) and 2 characters-1 person(Naomi Watts.Mulholland drive)

2.The medium which was connecting between "reality" and "alternate world":Mirror(Lost Highway)& Locked box(Mulholland drive).

    How do u think?

BTW,I still could feel surreal dark energy in Inland Empire, which means that was still a great work!Haha

  • It does.

  • you are obviously not that clever

  • If you ask me the 60's had Once upon a Time in the West, the 70's had Taxi Driver, the 80's had Once Upon a Time in America, the 90's had American Beauty, and the 2000's have Mulholland Drive.

Best film of the decade? So far, yes.

  • agree! i love this film more than anything in this world

  • Same here.

I'm probably crazy, but does anyone else think that this could make a good Pink Floyd- style "rock opera", in the style of The Wall? Imagine the creepy/awesome songs and deranged animation that this film could inspire.

Then again, you'd probably need drugs to make heads or tails of it.

  • @Bozofreak one can argue there are better films than the ones you have listed for the decades other than 2000's.

  • A good movie

  • CITY OF DREAMS.........

  • There is a spoiler in this trailer. It shows Niome Watts being called Diane.

  • It's time to wake up!

  • Kiffable mais incompréensible !!

  • Magical movie

  • some one is in trouble!!

  • "Something's bad is happening!"

  • Never mind about the last question. I found out it's "I've Told Every Little Star".

  • Can someone please tell me what the song at 0:37 is? By the way a great film from a great director.

One of my all-time favorite movies.

    Classic.

    Masterpiece.

    Hail to David Lynch!

  • This movie is fantastic!

  • This movie is... pure perfection

  • It's a simple circle. There is only one woman, in love with herself and ultimately destroyed by self-love...

  • There's a man in back of this place. I can see him through the wall...I can see his face. I hope I never see that face outside of a dream.

  • ^^^

    Boner

  • Google "Dr. Mulholland" and Project MKULTRA, the CIA's secret Mind-Control program.

  • I love this movie, It's strangely incredible. I can't help but be captivated. Its dark, mysterious, confusing, but holds you interested. I do not completely understand it myself, and have read articles as well. I think alot is open to interpretation, which is cool. It can mean different things to anyone, or at any time. Im glad to see others appreciate it as well.

  • The Greatest of All Movies ! Thx Mr Lynch for this treasure ! ! ! ! !

  • my number one movie

  • I think Mulholland drive is great, but I do not pretend I understood everything. I read articles what is real and what is supposed to be dream, it helped little bit.Did someone noticed similarity "husband returns home" scenes in Mulholland.dr and Intolerable Cruelty? Who wants to remind these scenes ,I uploaded video about it.

  • There is...no...band.

    And yet...we hear...a band.

    Mulholland Drive?

    That's where I was going.

  • "No hay banda!"

    "No es orchestra!"

  • maybe my favorite

  • MY FAVOURITE MOVIE!!!!! so glad to know some people feel the same way!! :))))

  • best movie EVER

  • My favorite movie!!

  • One of the BEST movies ever made!
