@iluvable7 I don't know where you are coming from, or where or even IF you train, but you do not compete circus arts. Unless you are planning on competing in the festival in Monte Carlo, you are pretty much not competing. You obviously missed my point. Doing something like this isn't about trying to be better than others. I'm not competing against you, nor do I plan to. I'm going to end this discussion by saying this: If you don't have anything to show for it, something that I can see
that tells me that you are not just all talk, then I'm done discussing this with you. You are obviously lacking the maturity to see things in a kind way, and I don't respect you for that. If you have something to show for it, then fine. Also keep in mind that this is an extremely old video and does not showcase half the skill I currently have. Go watch a different video of mine, or hate on other things that won't offend people.
@iluvable7 when did u start doing circus? im 13 and i started circus when i was in year 5 i learnt the drop last year at the start of the year and it is good to see someone that is sorta the same level as me im intermediate at silks. i went to a circus festival in perth and learnt heaps of new tricks can u upload more vids :) nice to see someone at the same level as i was at that age :)
@iluvable7 That's great for you, but being an aerialist isn't about competition, and it isn't about being able to do more things than the next person. I'm sorry you feel that way, but there's nothing I can do to change that. You should be doing aerial because it is something you love to do, not because you want to be better than everyone else.
@iluvable7 I really hope. that one day, someone is as harsh as you just were to me. People are at different stages of learning, and if you had really been paying any attention, you would have noticed that this was three summers ago. It was a sequence put on for a summer camp, and the first time I had ever done tissu in front of an audience. If you look at any of my recent videos, you'll see how much my work has improved.
@iluvable7 I don't know if you even practice aerials, but if you do, please remember that you were once at a beginner level. No one is born knowing how to do any of this. So please, refrain in the future from negativity, whether it be on work of mine, or anyone else's. It's rude, harsh, unnecessary, and disrespectful.
And really? iluvable7? I'd find it hard to say you were lovable.
@Uma941 Thank you! This was actually over two years ago.... I'm uploading a new video soon of something I choreographed. I hope that by watching it you'll see that you can accomplish a LOT in just a matter of a year (or two) Best of luck!

@Ellenaoae I like to see you post some videos of yourself doing this, it's not nice to criticize when you don't have any videos to represent yourself with.
@Ellenaoae Wow, how rude and ignorant. It's not like you can just be a professional off the bat. I thought it was a beautiful performance, and I hope I can learn these things soon! :]

This was a bout two years ago, and it was part of a camp show. Take a look at my silks performance video from MMac for a more recent video.

i think you've done great, though it was a little short and the ceiling was a bit low. For how long have you been training silks?

ceiling looks kinda too low to do silks on...
101emmallee 1 year ago
@101emmallee You're right, it is pretty low. It holds you back from a lot, but works nonetheless...
