@TheShadiboy1 you rather have your gamer profile corrupted than having occasional glitches not to mention gears has tons of screen tearing, guns always go through walls( uc3 does not have that because of the collision system), tons of pop ins. glitches only happen some times in any game.

UC3 is the most boring piece of crap i've ever played. Nathan drake searches for a treasure/artifact (again), bad guy (in this case it's a bad woman) needs the treasure too, so drake and his friends are pointlessly climbing some random pipes, rooftops and what not to find it and to defeat the bad bad woman. Everyone of them can jump 10 meters without problems, the controls still suck, the shooting and cover mechanics are still awful and the gameplay is not fun at all. This game is a B Movie.

No matter U3 or Gears 3 looks better. But about Unreal engine I would say its much more advanced than Uncharted. Since its a multiplat engine which can run games on 360, PC or PS3.
Since Gears 3 is limited by 360's hardware, Therefore it is optimized. If Gears 3 is ever released on PC and played on GPU like Nvidia 580 GTX. I think nothing in either consoles could topple that.

As of September 27, 2011, Gears 3 grossed over $1 billion and the numbers keep rising every week. If uncharted 3 wins goty. I would care less. For me I look at the sales to see which is truly popular to the audience of the world. and so far Gears has many players and their playing online like crazy.

I have Gears and the subway Uncharted 3 MP, been playing both everyday. The newest Uncharted 3 MP is extremely polished. Visuals have seen definite improvements since the July beta in all areas. Lighting, AA, and by God, the textures! There the most amazing I've seen on consoles. After beating Gears, it looks damn good, I must say. But as predicted, Uncharted 3 reigns supreme over it in terms of visuals.

having played both Betas myself... Gears3 visually was the superior esp in the lightning and shadows department; wasnt even close. But both games should not be compared gameplay wise as they have like... nothing in common.

UC3 is the most boring piece of crap i've ever played. Nathan drake searches for a treasure/artifact (again), bad guy (in this case it's a bad woman) needs the treasure too, so drake and his friends are pointlessly climbing some random pipes, rooftops and what not to find it and to defeat the bad bad woman. Everyone of them can jump 10 meters without problems, the controls still suck, the shooting and cover mechanics are still awful and the gameplay is not fun at all. This game is a B Movie.

No matter U3 or Gears 3 looks better. But about Unreal engine I would say its much more advanced than Uncharted. Since its a multiplat engine which can run games on 360, PC or PS3.
Since Gears 3 is limited by 360's hardware, Therefore it is optimized. If Gears 3 is ever released on PC and played on GPU like Nvidia 580 GTX. I think nothing in either consoles could topple that.

Gears of War 3 sold more than 3 million copies during its first week - higher than the previous two Gears series. As of September 27, 2011, Gears 3 grossed over $1 billion and the numbers keep rising every week. If uncharted 3 wins goty. I would care less. For me I look at the sales to see which is truly popular to the audience of the world. and so far Gears has many players and their playing online like crazy.

And there's going to be a lot more when new maps arrive, especially the new upcoming campaign. DBS and Retro lancer whoring? Sorry to say, you must suck if it comes to that excuse. I rarely use the retro or the saw off, because I know how to play "Kill cleverly and take cover." It take real skill to play gears. You obviously don't have any.

I have Gears and the subway Uncharted 3 MP, been playing both everyday. The newest Uncharted 3 MP is extremely polished. Visuals have seen definite improvements since the July beta in all areas. Lighting, AA, and by God, the textures! There the most amazing I've seen on consoles. After beating Gears, it looks damn good, I must say. But as predicted, Uncharted 3 reigns supreme over it in terms of visuals.

all i see in uncharted is just an interactive movie. it plays the exact same way if you were to play it multiple times. and the multiplayer ok but not that exciting. I know that gears of war isnt known for its campaign buts its pretty damn good compared to previous gears games. and the multiplayer for gears is just breathtaking, finally having dedicated servers and some more features.
