@iOsOYrOi It should spin the weels but you have to find smooth termac! One more option is...when you have dsc on... try to hold dsc button for 3-4 seconds! Than you swich off everything... also diff lock! be careful! take care

aside from the m badges everywhere. the mirrors and quad tipped exhaust are a dead give away. along with the e39 m5 rims and body trim. this is an ///M not a 540...

It`s a 100% real e39 M5. All you "specialist" better sit quiet if you don`t know what you are saying. As placepersonpeople said M5 exausts do not fit to regular without modification of boot floor because floor panel is different. It`t rare that M5 has got chrome element`s ( this is the only one i saw ) and not every M5 got to have badge on trunk. I saw this cay on my own eyes and i met previous owner and i can ensure it`s real e39 M5. Greetings to Bombel :)

also the bmw m5 came with the smaller mirrors that was never an option on the regular 5 series. And supagog that sound is impossible to get out of a regular 5 series even with a supercharger and a remus exahust. Hey supagog, if you were even a bmw guy you would know that the bmw m5 had the lip on the trunk and in that specific year the chrome molding was an option the costed an extra $439.00 when the car was handbuilt and custom ordered in Germany. Oh, and by the way the M5 exahaust would not fit on any other 5 series and BMW did that so that idiots like you would know the difference between an M5 and a not just a regular 5 series. That sound is impossible to get out of a regular e39 non sport.

M5 exhaust does fit 540is with some modification. There are quite a few running around. The mirrors and bumpers are VERY common items to find swapped over as well.
