So which do you prefer between the totally mm and Palermo pm as a mommy/everyday bag? I don't wanna go GM Cus I think that'd be too huge to use eventually.

That's tough, because I really do love both of those bags... The Totally would probably be more functional, with the pockets on the exterior & a bit more room - especially if you're planning on having anything for the kids in your bag. The Palermo PM of course looks more like a purse and would be great even when you're not with the kids... So it is a tough call. If you prefer functionality, I would go with the Totally. I don't know if I could choose between the two. :)

@punkydebutante1 - I love that thing! I've had it for years! It's a Juicy Couture card case and I bought it at Nordstrom's. I'm not sure if they have anything available that is similar to it right now, but you might search eBay or a similar venue to see if you can find one. (I would guess it was released around 2007 or 2008?)

does your bag easily bend out of shape because i read a comment that after many uses they start getting deformed?

@choochiXluvzXMakeup - I don't think it necessarily gets deformed. I think if you don't have it full all of the way the pleated areas will press in - but if you stuff it with scarves or a purse pillow when it is not in use, that should help it retain its shape as well. Mine is still going strong and it was my go to purse last Winter! :)

I'm a mommy too and still looking for a "good Mommy bag". I see that you have this and the Totally MM. Are they the same dimensions and fit the same things? Which one do you prefer? Thanks!

Hi smile! The Palermo PM & Totally MM have slightly different dimensions, the Palermo is a bit shorter - so the Totally has more space... they do fit approximately the same amount of items. (With the Totally MM having a bit more room.) I think the Palermo has a bit more style to it, while the Totally is a bit more functional. I've used the Totally for the past few months, and it's a tough call because I like them both equally for different reasons. I would weigh style vs. function.

I'm not personally able to put the two handles over my shoulder as they only have about a 6 inch drop, anytime I need it on my shoulder I use the strap. Palermo PM vs. Totally is a tough one. I used the Palermo most of the Winter and I've now been using the Totally since the beginning of Spring. I would probably say the Palermo PM has a little bit more style & the Totally is a little bit more functional, so depending on whether you're looking for style/function, that would decide it.

It's a fantastic mommy bag! I don't baby it though, the vachetta has kind of patina-ed unevenly, but I still love it! It is a nice tan color after consistent use this Winter (pretty much what you see in the video). I'm using a Totally right now that has vachetta as well, and it's holding up beautifully! So I would say if you live in a snowy climate like I do, maybe avoid wearing the vachetta when it's snowing, but it's worked out fine with the little one. Hope that helps! :)
