Great video great...... But that go T has to go bro, it looks like a briscutt wtf!!!! I have ms too ill have to adjust to it but i have to continue to be me!!
The very second I knew I had M.S., I told myself and everyone would listen to me that I was going to beat this thing... Granted, I still have it, and probably always will. But I have never stopped pushing forward. I refuse to let this disease defeat me.
I completely agree with you. MS was the best thing that ever happened to me exactly because it shook my life up completely. I was so bothered by life and so manically driven before MS and, looking back, I realise that I had been living in fear. Fear of failure and fear of success met in me in an unholy alliance which MS tore apart. I decided nothing was worth freaking out about when I knew the MS consequences. 22 years of MS and I am better than ever. Better than before, even.
I love your attitude. I made a web site to support people who are dealing with trauma, overcoming abuse, and who are dealing with chronic illness, helping them to move forward. I've had a great response, but I haven't told any of my subscribers I have MS. I plan on making a video next week and come out of the closet. I want to let people know if someone like me can do all that I do, what more can they do to help heal the world. Thanks for inspiration.
Just stumbled (ha!) on this. Hate groups, depressing, draining. I’ve got the relapsing-remitting type, stay positive get out, meet people, enjoy your life. I'm 60 (!) diagnosed when I was 42 - not the best time, had a 2 and 6 year old, but we coped. Had two relapses, when I was 45 and 50, in a wheelchair both times for over 4 months. But physio and sheer willpower got me back on my feet Now on beta-interferon and haven’t had a relapse for 10 years. Drive with hand controls. All’s good! You too!

I agree that we have to be positive. I hated the MS groups too. I have done so much since my MS that I would never have done. I now write and am secretary the a local writers circle and have performed my poetry at local theatres. I have also found that I can paint and thanks to getting out there in my electric wheelchair and living as normal a life as I can, people treat me as a person and not a brain dead idiot. I talk to people and they soon see that there is nothing wrong with my mind.
see, I have friends that were just told the curse word M.S and call me and ask after 13 years how do I stay upbeat? I tell them its ATTITUDE/ MIND OVER MATTER!!!! Trust in GOD and M.S DOESN'T OWN YOU! :D
THANKS FOR YOUR UPLIFTING WORD! MANY BLESSING TO YOU :D
SEE I did a mag. interview for the NYC M.S Society and said what you said. When you go to them all you here is....WHAT MEDS YOU ON? I shock them when I say none & feeling GOOD! I now use a wheelchair because of my tremors BUT... I lived for 9 years without it. AND TRUST ME THIS DOESNT HAVE THE BEST OF ME ;D
@AWDESIGNS8 Im not back to 100% yet maybe 70%. But its getting better each day. I do alot of positive self talk each and everyday. Keep God 1st while staying positive is the reason behind my continued improvement
@hmack2005 i dont go to groups i dont feel sorry for my self. god is always in my life god family and friends thats what keeps me going. your mind can heal your body, i watch ann boroch on u-tube check her out she healed her self it is a good thing to watch i will get better i will improve. on maybe one day i will call you i dont have your number so maybe give that out. love ya april and happy new year to you and your family

wow! u really see this as I do!I am so tired of ppl telling me to join groups & I tell my dr's I cannot take the negative!I know I am sick but to hear all the whoas me is a killer!
I work & all I hear from the dr is quit.My husband reminded me yesterday if I don't work he fears what it will to me.I work in a meat dept of 42 degrees all day & that is my blessing. The heat devstates me but that cold room just does something for me.Plus the friends & customers keep me going !Keep up the positive!
@hmack2005 ...Honestly I had to brother. My daughter was just born and you gotta move to care for a baby. Its hard to push through that briar patch that is MS, but GOD carries us through and my daughter and wife needed me...savings don't last forever. I juiced, walked, raw foods, better stress managment, no refined sugar, severely limit gluten, more intellectual conversations to spark new neural connections. And most important of all "kept the faith"
I'm in mourning with this sh*t and I hate groups. I get so pissed when some ppl say, "I'm going to beat this!" How? IMO, impossible. Attitude is everything, right? Well, my attitude was sh*tty before being Dx (2008, but I had symtoms long before) with MS. I'm glad for you though. You're a positive cat. Anyway, I just needed to vent; In the meantime, I'm going to just go thru the motions and hope I don't do another faceplant in public.
@wysiwyg43 to me you can be the positive person in the world but god has a plan for you . just go with it. i dont go to groups but i do go on daily strength and there are people who have ms so we talk . its great i look up stuff on u-tube and found this lady who healed her self from ms ann boroch check her out she was on montell too . god is in her life too . mind can heal your body too god family and friends then you got it . you can do this love ya april
everything you have said is so true I have just realized this about 2 years ago now I play football again it may be a lower standard but I only take the basic M.S tablets now I hurt sometimes but it makes me remember to keep going against it I laugh and joke about it with family and friends. 1 they here the word M.S 2 it is not uncomfortable for them I know have a 1 year old boy and we are due another boy in May .Your attitude is fantastic see you soon Zico
Nice to see you again and may I say that you do look FINE ;-)
I never went to any type of group, I have found a family here on youtube of people who are all about support and uplifting each other through the rough times.
Good to see you again man! I remember I first reach out to you when I got dx'd back in 2008. Your words have the power of inspiration. I'm doing great myself. MS has caused me to eat right, exercise, and to appreciate the small things in life. I also had to quit the groups. Too much negativity and complaining. Are you still off the meds and doing the holistic approach?
love your video.

Hey! so good you are feeling better!
Can i ask how long ago you went to have treatment with noel batten?
Are you still doing massage and chiro adjustments regularly?
Do you think ms is really to do with spine misalignments and muscle tension and overactive mind as noel says.

Remember when we used to write to each other and when you inspired me to make one of my first videos?
I am so happy to see that you are doing great! I believe what you say and I do the same: I go to do Yoga instead of going to the sad support groups!
I have to believe that I am going to get better and I continue to dream of a world without MS for all of us!
Thank you for making the video!
