@rathy12 if you are in the air, you are inside of the air. If you are on the air, you are on top of the air. If you replace air with ground it makes more sense. If you are in the ground, then you are inside of the ground. If you are on the ground, that means your are on top of the ground, most likely standing. Some times on the air is used to express whether or not you are live on tv, or radio
