@goback3spaces ken burns did a great job with this documentary, he covered so much that had not been seen between the negro leagues and all the old time players. i can give him a pass for editing the speech
@morrieswigs Ken burns didn't really edit the speech. Only 4 sentences have survived on tape from the speech- we only have transcripts of the whole speech.

my mother died of ALS at the age of 34, 3 years ago. This is heart wrenching for me to listen to, and i consider my self a cold person.
