Well one thing for sure - Meredith is madly in love w/him even though he has a serious illness (MS) & she'll never leave him!!!! I doubt she'll ever remarry or date when he dies!!!! I don't think that's gonna happen soon b/c the guy's not a vegetable!!! He's totally aware of what's going on in the world especially the fact that his lovely wife is adored by many male (& female) fans in the entire world!!!!
I watched an interview w/Meredith & Richard & I can tell even w/the illness he's fighting for his life. But regardless of how ill he might be one thing for sure he's a very intelligent man - very articulate when he speaks. He's enjoying life to the fullest b/c he's married to a wonderful woman who's adored throughout the globe. Meredith is an icon to many.
gbwisconsin, I believe he's been confined to a wheelchair for several yrs now but that would be a blessing if he's fully cured from such an illness. I don't remember Richard's occupation but I think he was (or still is) a news producer or broadcast journalist. That job's quite a chore - how's he do it? You have to admire such a man for doing what he does. I admire Meredith for being the ideal housewife. This couple is a pair of positive role models that many kids should look up to each day.
There need to be more teens that look more up to Meredith than let's say Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Lindsey Lohan, J-Lo, Paris Hilton or Lady GaGa (entertainers who dress trashy & do completely outrageous things on (& even off) stage (or screen) in front of the children who worship the ground they walk on. Where's the parental guidance for that? Meredith's all about family & that's who we need in this world!
