This movie was good, but I actually think T2 should have been nominated for, and won best Best Picture. The best movie of the year by far. I also think that if only one animated movie could be nominated for best picture, it should have been Toy Story, in 1995.

@rgur90x Well, at the time it was a breakthrough in both CGI, and overall how people experience animated films. It also has a pretty touching story. Even if it's not that, there are PLENTY of animated films to choose from before Sleeping Beauty in terms of being nominated for Best Picture. In fact a lot of people were saying that Wall-E should've been nominated for the award. But apart from animated, I don't see why this got nominated in 1991 over T2. EASILY the best film of that year.

Disney will probably never have the same brilliace they used to they got rid of all their hand drawn studios it is all computer generated now. I still love Disney but this was a bad decision I think

remember when disney didn't suck? Man the 90s were golden for Disney. They could do no wrong. I wish they would remember their roots and go back to making entertaining movies like that. Then again, I dont think we'll ever see the kind of awesome that Disney put out in the 90s. O well. We still have the classics to dwell on.

That ad is frikkin' amazing!

I want this movie on DVD now, especially that I no longer have the VHS 'cause it was somehow lost... but wow, the 3D displays and everything are just... wow, that's the only word.

There's only one thing that bothers me about this ad, and that's that the lip-syncing and changing of words in scenes looks so painstakingly obvious to me. But other than that, god that's awesome.

Maybe I can get it in 2010 :P Though that's a long wait
