Thanks for the video. My head gasket just blew and needs to be replaced. I am going to give this a try, and hopefully it will work. this way seem much easier than all the other ways demonstrated on youtube. I will let you know if it works on my saturn.
Well, yeah, I suppose if you're scared of wrenches and stuff this would be a solution. Probably need deep pockets to use this repair technique on a regular basis. Certainly is an arguement for the "cash for clunkers" scam. Wonder where this was recorded. 1600 Pennsylvania Ave? lol
@mezap77 lol if the car is worth the money ill fix them but if there junk i crush em... payed 100 for the car and it crushed for 325 plus the converter, wheels, battery, and radiator, close to 500 profit.....if i were to fix it close to 500 or 600 out of pocket, so id have 700 in it, ask 1500 bucks for it and hope it sales....so, about the same amount of profit with out having to do crap to it plus have a little fun with it.....lol and it was recorded in atlanta
@s13rb20power - No kidding? $500.00? I am sooo in the wrong business!
I'm in north Ga mountains, just a few miles from you. The 1600 pennsylvania ave. gag was a play on the cash for clunkers program. Thats the presidents residence. America's clunker...lol
@s13rb20power There were alot of sellable parts worth saving on this vehicle. IF you paid $100 bucks for this car...then you're doing the wrong thing here and also in the wrong business dude. Buy them cheap and sell them for parts. Rabidpixel is right. You could have tripled your investment selling just a door, trunk or rear lights as an example and still have more to sell. I could have gotten a working 3.1 engine for $200, FIXED that car, still making more profit than you did.
Mother Earth can breathe a little easier without this piece of shit GM!! I have a Montana van, I know!!! I'd have it totally crushed if I could afford it!
dont forget to torque all the bolts ... just blew my vh45de head gasket yesterday , in my 91 hatch 240...just rebuilt the motor 700 miles ago , livid...

Let me see if I understand this concept:
1. Head gasket leak gets repaired from the outside by "compacted fusion" without having to opne the hood.
2. Afterwards, you take car to accordion repair shop and have them stretch car back to original size.
Kid, I think you are unto to something here!
Have you contacted the patent office yet?
Let's think IPO. This could be the next Google!

One must use a torque wrench as well to get it right.
The sky-hook was entirely unnecessary.
But every one has their own technique.
