@smaltalkfan :O dude if Stalin had never existed the whole world would be communist today, sadly the Soviet Union was a fail when it came to people's rights, if everyone in a communist nation lived the same they would all have to live in houses made for middle class people, not for poor people.
What most people don't know is, on how Russia had gotten its cultural look, and its Eastern Orthodox religion, I think its around the end of the Byzantine Empire when they began to settle along the eastern european baltic area's, with that of course came the merging of not just slavic, viking, and byzantium culture thus forming Russia's cultural idenity, and setting the stage for a new empire. Like how many russian leaders were called Tsar's, which actually meant Caesar, in contexts :)
@FouchJustin191 yes russians got their alphabet from the First Bulgarian Empire 632 - 1018 and the first Tsars were Bulgarian Emperors in 927 Tsar Petar search it in Wikipedia
@bob4o99 Wikipedia lie. Peter 1 ( Russian Emperor ) asked german historians to write new history of Russia. Now we can tell that our alphabet is more then 1500 years old. And also - our first grand dukes ( We rename our leaders to Tsars only when Ivan 4 appear. It is 16 century ) was from Skandinavia.
@XxVitalyxX FAIL THE RUSSIANs use the Cyrrilic alphabet and the whole world knows that check in Encyclopedia Brittanica it was developed in the First Bulgarian Empire by Kliment Ohridski check it EVERYWHERE except for macedonain sites they always lie the first Tsar ever was Simeon I The Great 917 AD check it and your alphabet is not 1500 years its impossible the first Russian country was Kievan Rus in 1000 AD The cyrrilic alphabet is 1400 1300 1200 maybe years old it was developed in 10th centry
@bloodrhein It was part of the armistance agreement between them and Germany so that Russia could acheive an peace, they later of course reclaimed their lost territories when WW2 began, but I think only portions of Finland came back into Russian influence and control, with the Poland completely under USSR occupation after WW2
@gamerguy322 They didn't own eastern europe it was called the Warsaw Pact it was a military alliance of different countries including the Soviet Union It didn't own them.
@YeaAndimatdabeach it was capable of disembloweling governments at the snap of a finger, and had practical military and economic control over its subject states.
@EmperorTigerstar eh it owned it for a short time before ww2 was completely over, they had control of western europe, but after the war, thats when they just had their influence
