Yea I was slightly dissapointed about this tour. I actually thought by our techonology getting more advanced each year that THIS veriosn would probly be one of the best Broadway produtions revised, but sadly this wasnt. The sets and costumes looked as though they were generating to more of a Kiddy agre group rather than staying true to the original concept of the characters/time setting etc. It was too Las Vagas Kiddy like looking. The Orchestra was great as always but the set and costumes..sigh

They should have made her look more like Glinda from Wicked...hints better wig, better costume, and a kick ass bubble...better then the one they have here in this video.

It's because Wicked is based on the Wizard of Oz. When you watch Wicked, it's supposed to be like, "so this is what really happened to the wicked witch of the west." I love both musicals:)

Wow, i got two negatives for giving constructive critisism of a costume. The original 1998 MSG tour tin man funnel hat was the same size as the movie one and could also blow smoke!

Anyone notice how some of the costumes are now more looking like WICKED's costumes? I mean look at Glinda's bubble, how it floats in, the cogs on it, and then her costume looks more like Glinda's from WICKED and also the emerald city costumes. Looks like a great production tho
