I'm saddened by the things coming out with SH now. Homecoming was a TERRIBLE game. The Room was the last good SH I'm afraid, simply because after that, the original creators stopped making them. Same thing happened to Resident Evil. I'm just sad such great horror games took such a bad turn. I grew up with these games, now I cringe when a new one is announced.

Really? I thought the idea of running from the monsters was pretty original up till a point. The only combat worth noting in the SH series was in Homecoming, lol. The graphics were pretty bad. Yeah. They did a good job with the lighting though. The story? Well, it was short, but it was one helluva twist.

I don't like the way the characters look. They're too attractive. It makes it seem like a cheap teen slasher movie, full of pretty people who can barely act. I'm not saying the protagonist should be an hideous old ogre, just not somebody who looks like he's stepped off a Paris catwalk rather than out of a prison. It's annoying.

Har inte en aning om hur Silent hill 6 blir (för det kommer väl ett SH6?). Men jag har iallafall förväntningar. Och jag tycker inte att dom ska avsluta serien förens om många spel till. För alla silent hill spel är värda att spela. Och det kommer dom vara även om dom inte är lika bra som grundspelen.

Jag tycker dock att det skulle göras om ett silent hill spel från förr, som har dålig grafik och göra spelet i as bra grafik. För jag är intresserad av storyn, men klarar inte av grafiken på dom.

@TheBunnyHero konami never called it 8. to my understanding they just labeled it silent hill and left it up to us to decide, their was silent hill 1 2 3 4 homecoming and then origins, origins took place before harry goes to silent hill, shattered memories was just a game to keep us which basically just took place as Cheryl's (harry masons daughter) imagination until 6 or "eight" if you prefer comes out, so yes if you see origins does not count as 6 and shattered memories doesn't count, so yup.

I can see that this game is going to fail just by the trailer. While All other characters in Silent Hill had some connection to the town (Except for Henry Townsend, but I'll let that pass since 4 wasn't originally going to be a Silent Hill game) This character has no connection to the town what so ever, he just ends up in Silent Hill.
