  • @ComradeMing how the hell did u get to youtube? :)

  • So many Chinese emperors were despotic monsters, who could'nt care less about the lives of their people. And also the Great Wall was in the end, a complete failure. The last ethnic "Han chinese" dynasty was the Ming dynasty. Two foreign dynastys came befor and after the Ming. The Yuan and the Qing, respectfully. China is an enigma. They have one of the greatest civilizations in history, unsurpassed in scale and glory. But still their goverment treats the people like animals. A shame really.

  • @Hannibal953able "But still their goverment treats the people like animals." i really dont know how you guys get this and bilieve this...... you can just go to china and see.

  • @Hannibal953able Roman Emperors weren't better than Chinese Emperors I can tell you that.

  • Search China on the united state census bureau. The stats are awesome!

  • Romes better

  • @LupaLuke China is better bitch. Rome collapsed LOL! Dont give me that Holy Roman empire bs. Holy Roman Empire was not an empire, was not Roman and was certainly not holy.

  • @DragonOfQin Actually, China doesn't even come close to being the oldest civilization in the world. The modern Chinese state was founded in 1949. Prior to that, the land called "China" was inhabited by many distinctly different cultures, and different portions of the territory now called "China" were intermittently united by various competing factions, AKA "Dynasties".

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 Actually, I am proud of China; that men, women before me fought so that I may live; present and future generations be masters of their homes.

Actually, I am proud of China, to see children going to school, cheerful and bright; their parents proud and oldies too.

Actually, I am proud too of the progress despite all odds.

Look around. The water`s choppy and sky grey.

Nature has her way, it will be over and a new dawn for humanity.

  • @imagesoflightable I never said that China wasn't a great civilization. I just said that the land which we now call "China" has not been a single civilization throughout all of its history. The USA and the UK both speak the same language, and historically used the same system of measurements, but that doesn't make them the same civilization. China is a great nation to be sure, but people still often accredit it with a more spectacular history than is appropriate.

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 Wrong. If you say that China wasn't a single civilization than the Persian civilizations under Cyrus, Xerxes were not single civilizations either. Parthia wasn't Sassinid, etc. China WAS a single civilization. China had always kept the Middle Kingdom concept EVEN NOW they call themselves Zhong Guo(Middle Kingdom). Dynasty after dynasty had a similar social system not to mention Confucianism, Legalism, Daoism, Buddhism all played a part in all Chinese dyansties.

  • @DragonOfQin It's completely inaccurate to say that "China" has been a unified civilization throughout its history. It would be more accurate to say that the land controlled by the modern nation called "China" has been inhabited at many different times throughout history by many different civilizations to whom the name "China" has been retroactively and collectively applied.

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 Yes, one can say that China is an entity and a continuing civilization till this day.

Like all other civilizations, the change of a king or dynasty not necessarily meant the end of a civilization as such.

  • @DragonOfQin Today, most of Europe is united by the European Union, but that doesn't make the European Union the same civilization as the Roman Republic, the Old Roman Empire / Western Roman Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire / Byzantine Empire, or the Holy Roman Empire. Likewise, just because the land we currently call "China" was united under The People's Republic of China in 1949, that doesn't mean that the same land has been continuously united by ANY civilization for the past few millennium.

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 Qin, Han, Jin, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing are all Chinese dynasties. All had the same language, culture, coinage, measurements, weights, etc. Can empires that come after Rome's fall claim to have a standardized system like those of Chinese dynasties?

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 One main aspect of the founding of the People`s Republic of China is that it marked the renewal of a new chapter in Chinese history. After the arrival of Columbus in the Americas, European states established colonies on other continents and a new world order in the making.

In the case of China, it was not only the establishment of trading post on coastal ports but a hidden agenda to weaken China. Through the import of opium and other factors such as Christian missionary work etc.

  • @a9fc8yt3kd1 The idea of a European Union came about as a result of the cold war between the Soviet Union and the western powers. The European Union is an experiment and encompass member states in the union of a common currency and military alliance. It is basically a union similar to that of the United States.

There is no connection to the Romans or Byzantine past.

  • @LupaLuke Roman empire is long gone, Rome is definitely no better.

  • the great wall is pretty great, if you know what I mean :)

  • haaaaate

  • The Qin? Why do they talk like the Dynasties were names of the ethnic people?

  • first
