Pinoy nurses are known firstly for their hardworking manner, efficiency, reliability, trustworthy, and most importantly understanding with sympathy to all patients. It's not about MONEY itself, its about family why we Filipinos would like to go abroad. Bacause of economic crisis here in PINAS, how can u survive with the minimum wage.. It's true that nurses in the uk get a substantial amount of money from doing such job but they really have to work hard and do over times as most of them are "bread winners" to be able to send money to their respective families back home.They do the work that the Brits hate.Filipinos believe in hard work,honesty and responsiblity in any job they do.Very reliable.Well done and keep it up!

you have no idea how hard it is being a nurse. how much time, effort, physical and emotional investment you have to give in order to properly care for your patients. it is wrong to say that nurses are just doctor's helpers, for nurses are partners when it comes to healthcare.

let me ask you, kung may doctor at walang nurse, paano maaalagaan ang mga pasyente sa ospital? what use is a doctor if there are no nurses to care for their patients? doctors are there only for a few minutes a day, nurses are there for the whole 8-hour or 12-hour shift.

doctors depend on the nurses to update and tell them the condition of the patient, and this involved careful assessment and evaluation. it is people like you that degrade the integrity and dignity of being a nurse, of how much hard work, caring, and selfless giving is involved in nursing. it is in my opinion that nursing is one of the noblest profession there is, and i find it pathetic that people aren't aware of that.
