  • that should do me well that what she said lol;)

  • you probably didn't need to upgrade to an m115 spring to get 400 fps. a 6.03 tight bore barrel would have boosted you up to about 400 fps and at the same time put a little less stress on your gears and give you a higher rate of fire.

  • @whyhedodat Yeah, I only needed a M110 Spring to get me 400 fps. Also ball bearing bushings busted me up even farther.

  • the pistonhead will faster crack your box unse cylinderhead with big buffer for best fps.

  • is the matrix challenge kit the exact same gun as the aimtop m4? except that it comes with metal body?

  • @LiteScar It is the exact same gun ready to shoot with a plastic body. They give you an extra metal body and one piece hop up unit to be able to remove the plastic body and install the metal body any time you wish.

  • @JohnMatrixCommando If i bought a G&G blowback challenge kit for my m-4 I assume that it would come with the gearbox and other internals, correct?

  • @iLikeGuns88 Yes, That one comes with everything except the front barrel assembly and handguard. So you can use what you have or order a custom one like MAGPUL etc.

  • @JohnMatrixCommando Thanks.

  • @JohnMatrixCommando In that case do you know if Dboys is compatible with G&G?

  • 2:08 is the funniest thing ever!

    Smoother action

  • Its how well the cylinder is sealed :)

  • @AirsoftBackUp I agree

  • How is it managing 380 fps on a m100 spring? majority of guns i know with m100 usually does around the 330-360fps range.

  • @LiteScar its the compression.

most of the guns are not fully sealed. this gun has a better seal on it so it shoots harder. Less air leeks more air out the gun

  • @AirsoftBackUp ok i see now,

btw, in terms of compresion, what raises the fps besides the barrel?

  • @LiteScar a new spring obviously lol but (and these are after market upgrades) cylinder: The upgraded cylinders are a little smaller to provide a tighter fit so less leaks. Cylinder head: A good one you can find on evike has a double o-ring. This placed inside the tighter cylinder will have no leeks. Air nozzle: some air nozzles have an o-ring inside them that provide a tighter seal. Piston head: This is the part that slides inside the cylinder and compresses the air. (read next comment)

  • @LiteScar But it also needs to withstand the impact of hitting the end of the cylinder so some come with ball bearings which are better. Also is can come in poly carbonate or metal. Metal is stronger so it will flex less but poly carb is lighter for higher rate of fire. The better the piston head the less air will flow between it and the side of the cylinder. That's it. O and if you are using an Aeg the tighter the inner barrel doesn't effect fps. unless there is an expanding force behind it

  • @AirsoftBackUp i meant besides the spring, but wow, what u just explained to me just answered everything! Thanks for the detailed info :)

  • @AirsoftBackUp oh, i also forgot to ask, what is the barrel size? i thought it was a 6.04 mm

  • @LiteScar no i belive stock its 6.08

ill put up a review when i get it. should be in about a week or so :)

  • @AirsoftBackUp wtf......there is no way it can possibly push 380fps with a 6.08 barrel and a m100.....unless u were using 0.12 bbs O___o

  • @LiteScar Nope you can. i think its a 110 anyways.

Its all about the airseal really. read up on it you will be suprised.

  • @AirsoftBackUp ok, if its a m110 i can sort of believe that. im a bit surprised tho. for a upgrade gun like this, i was expecting a tightbore 6.04, btw what mags did u get witht the holy cow special, thats if u used it. im dissapointed in mines because i got nonwinding mags and i deslike those :(

  • @LiteScar aw man im sorry. I wished i used it then because i bought non-winding mags.

they send based on avalibility. haha if you dont want them mailem to me :D lol

  • @AirsoftBackUp i think majority of people get midcap/high cap winding mags.....i havnt seen anyone who used the holy cow and got a nonwinding like me =___=

i recently got a combat machinese gun and they included a bonus where u get a battery and a charger for $10.....unfortunately, i got a 8.4v but everyone says that they got a 9.6v.......wtf O____o

    evike hates me :(

  • @LiteScar I think it is the good air seal. Not sure. But yeah right out of the box 379 fps

  • @JohnMatrixCommando Upgraded. because it stock it is usually 320 or 330fps. But you can swiss cheese the piston for more fps insted of straining the gear box with a havier spring. lots of stuff you can do for more fps as you can tell lol

  • going to buy this gun in a month or 2 cant wait and thanks for the advice

  • @skatenasaify The 240 one can come with a M120 spring instead of a M100 spring. Plus the logo on the recievers are different. The 240 one has the matrix logo where this one has the US marines logo.. Also this kit has a polycarb cylinder head instead of a steel, no ball bearing spring guide. where the $240 one does

  • so it comes With a complete gun ready to shoot? ad a body you can choose to put in? or what, cuz for 145 that is a great steal. for a normal gun+ full metal body. i want this but odnt know if it comes with gun or just reciever's. again is it ready to take out n shoot when i get it?

  • @stupify4life You get a fully assembled M4 ready to shoot out of the box. All you need is a battery. The one you get has a plastic receiver. You also get a box that contains a metal receiver and a one piece hop up unit. So you can play with the one you get and when your ready, you can take it apart and put the metal receiver on yourself.

  • i want to put an m125 in this with the stock parts.

    (dont ask why)

i just wanna know if the parts will be able to handle it.

Also, is the 6.04 tight bore accurate over 100 ft?

  • @FatHindu It should handle it but it is just a matter of how long till you have to service it. Either way its just a matter of time. I would put in a ball bearing spring guide with the upgraded spring. and YES it is accurate at 100 feet.

  • @JohnMatrixCommando thanks man. great advice. subbed

  • Thanks for your review it was very informative. Do you have any comments about the motor though (brand, etc.)? Seeing that it is both Matrix/Aim I guessed it was either the Aim high performance torque up motor or the Matrix performance magnum motor.. are either of these correct?

  • @BboyAMD In the description it says that it is the magnum motor but the one it came with is NOT labeled so I cannot confirm

  • @JohnMatrixCommando would you recommend the challenge kit?? for 145 i think its a steal, but how is the gearbox? do u think it will run a long time and i will only be using a 9.6v 2000mAh...plzz let me know as iam making my decision to buy this or the g&g combat machine

  • @06tCdriver The sportsline is awesome. I have one and then I bought the additional one with the challenge kit..

The original one I use a 9.6 200 mah battery. Great rate of fire. See my other video I reviewed it. So yes for the money the challenge kit is a steal. Don't forget the additional (2) extra mags for $3!!

  • @JohnMatrixCommando This is an amazing gun. I upgraded the motor and flashider only so far to a matrix turbo which makes the ROF insane with my lipo

  • Do you think you could list all the upgrades or have links to them?

    Thanks

  • @iamryanx List of upgrades

Matrix irregular pitch spring M115 $10

Matrix Version 2 Spring Guide with ball bearings $13

Matrix / SRC Aluminum Piston Head $20

Aim Top Stainless Steel Cylinder Head $18

    Total = $61

  • wow nice
