I really love Jensen cars! My dad just bought a Jensen FF MK1 1 1/2 year ago, and I simply ADORE it. Just with the 4-wheeldrive and anti-lock brakes it feels like driving a Gokart. One of the best cars ever made, no other words for it.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps EFi and tank clean and rustfree

I took one of these on a joy ride back in the late 70's with a buddy, I was 18 or 19. Walked up to the dealer, got the keys and proceeded to run the piss out of it, high as a kite. Not enough tire for the engine, one 360 spin out and a drift through a arching curve in the road. My buddy Mike was ready to kill me. LOL. of course I would not advise this or ever do it again.
Amazing, the engine sounds fantastic! I've always had a soft touch for Jensen's. One thing I quite like is the innocent & typical British style of dashboard & dials but a beast lies underneath!
if all cars sounded like that, everyone would be smiling whilst driving...
