its not the yamato cus the yamato has a blue ribbon around the handle not a white one and it has a yellow long ribbon but it is used to summon the giant

How Come They Don't Use A Japanese Cast For DMC4 When it comes out in Japan

The Devil May Cry series have never used a Japanese voice cast. It's much like the Resident Evil series, and is seen in games like No More Heroes. I suppose it's like that to be a bit more realistic and immersive, considering these series all take place in the west.

I don't think he is Sparda but I think it is Mundus because in the final trailer the statue puts a laser blast just like Mundus in DMC1.
