I love butlers creation and you did a fine job... Hats off to you. I have listened to many covers of this and most if not all had no feeling behind them as well as bad timing and tuning. im pretty sure what you do is tune the guitar down five frets then put on a capo, im pretty sure thats what makes the strings so loose easy to tap on.

The strumming is throwing you off in terms of the tempo.  You also need to learn the faster parts of the song by heart in order to keep the rhythm from fluctuating.

Good cover though, try going for the entire song after some more practice, you have the talent.
