  • People need to watch this. The trouble that i found with the documentry was that it descibed all the positives which is a good thing. However i think you will find there are more negatives. Its like eugenics trying to create another human with no emotion.Research Transhumanism. If it gets into the wrong hands then what happens. Who's to say it isnt in the wrong hands already.

  • Where can we watch the full episode of this?

  • I don't believe we can "play god" at all... No matter what we do, it would be stupid to think that anything we can do to our environments is "playing god". We can't even reach our neighboring stars... Anything we are able to do will be whatever the human is supposed to do, and we are infact "playing" humans.

  • Well in terms of the actual procedures, this is just replacing the original DNA, which effectively was what cloning (nuclear transfer) has achieved back in 1997. All that "recreating, rebooting life" is just repackaging and marketing really...

  • This is simply amazing information. Hard to comprehend the magnitude of what's been going on for so long.

  • then came the rise of cyborgs

  • Love how the demonstration is done in a church. Rubbing salt in to the wounds?

  • SINthia seems like an apt name to me.

  • @somegalfromcan Hahaha, you just made a pro-religion joke.

  • Some of the poorest Science & dreadful editing to convince mindless tits that some special had happened

  • @brendanECS Oh really?

  • Religious people are stupid

  • @dudohan you must be very religous or some day you will be.

  • Sigur Ros is my god.

  • Very interesting, when I saw the title I thought it might have been on the attempts to create a living organism from scratch. Can't wait to see what develops from this technology.

  • Really amazing stuff. People will always like to say 'Playing God' because they're afraid of what they don't understand. It's the same kind of mind that came up with the idea of the Towers of Bablyon story. These concerns shouldn't hold back the people who are genuinely moving forward.

  • @jamesajjpm babylon? Towers of Babel no?

  • @0jrhindo right you are, lots of confusingly similar names in The Bible.

  • @jamesajjpm I understand this concept all too well, and I am very afraid. Once Pandora's box is opened it cannot be closed.

  • @MrAmalsam well what evil lurks within exactly? If anything it's simply opening the floodgates to progress. If we can modify the DNA of bacteria we can make it in ways that can be beneficial to human beings

  • @jamesajjpm every tool that has ever been invented by man has the potential to be used for good or evil. just because you would not abuse this technology doesn't mean that others wouldn't. also, mant things that have been invented with good intentions have ended up having the opposite effect. thalidimide, chloro-florocarbons, etc.
