  • O and one more thing slick. I wasn't in the band in 04

  • Another thing. You know, it looks better if you wear actually uniforms while performing. It makes it look a lot more professional. I also like how you both checked out my myspace, which I haven't been on but maybe two or three times in the last year lol.

  • Also, I'm not necessarily downing them. Just offering some constructive criticism. Yes I do have a real job. A wonderful job in fact. Just because I look up videos on youtube doesn't make me a looser, jealous nor anything you both have said. If that were true, then I guess everyone on youtube is all the above.

  • HAHA! I smell a LOSER!!

Funny thing is - I'm sure this guy (Matt Crane) is NOT an alumnus of the EH Band - you know, you've got to graduate to be an alumnus. He either 1.) Is a NO TALENTED PIECE OF CRAP who spends his time on YouTube talking about kids. 2.) can't accept the fact that he is a LOSER who can't find LIFE. 3.) ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Matt, we invite you to come by the band room sometime and share your opinion with the rest of us, as I'm sure you don't have a real job.

  • lways tlaking abiout same old bull shit of what they are gonna get but never have got and never will. if you want it work for it and get it don't tlak about how your mom is gonna buy it for you. i mean hell it just used to be so much more fun back in the day so much more to do always find a shit load of partys on the weekend and you could always find something to do. now the funnest thing to do is go home and go to sleep. anyways yeah just figured i would say something...

  • Obviously StreetSpeed really misses high school because he spends all of his free time on youtube looking up things on East Hall. Does anybody want proof?

  • Brother, the video editing is fine, But I wish you could have gotten like a 2004 version of the Viking Band. I can't believe how bad they have gotten.

  • @dhutchinson86

I don't remember the 2004 band having the whole show on the field for the first game...in fact, wasn't it like the 4th or 5th game before the entire show was on the field?

  • @dhutchinson86

HOLY CRAP! You're in the North Hall Band and you want to talk crap about East Hall? Really? I do remember North Hall having about -- maybe 30-40 people in the band back then....

  • Actually I WAS in the North Hall band. I have since graduated. And for your point. Yes East Hall was bigger. They still are. And theyre louder. But size and volume doesn't matter. When I was with North Hall we were bringing home 1st place trophies from competitions. And we were competing in A, AA & AAA classes while I was there. We were never the loudest, or the biggest. But we still were good. East Hall was great too. But now, I feel bad for them. And btw. in 2004 the NH band had 32 members.

  • @dhutchinson86

I see. I've always been really impressed with NH as far as a "marching" band. Those guys can march better than anybody; but, I think the shows are a bit "over the head" of majority of our community. I have NOT been impressed with their musical ability.

  • Its al good man. But I do know what im talking about. I was around. North Hall had to battle big bands and we were doing two shows a year when I was there. We were doing great stuff too.

  • @dhutchinson86

Regarding feeling bad for EH, they have been going through some growing pains (because of their size, they have to go and compete against some really big bands with way more resources), but they have been making strides each year to improve. Those kids work really hard.

  • @dhutchinson86

HA - I was very critical of this "Cirque" show at first, but the kids loved it. Don't know what Cantrell was smoking when he thought of that one. I wish he would do another rock show - but its not "competitive" enought (apparently).

  • ya the reason why they been shrinking is because ALOT of them was droppin outta band in middle school because of the director... but now they have a way better director so i would expect the band to start growing back to what it used to be... hopefully...lol

  • @dhutchinson86 The shows that EH has played over the last few years have been incredibly difficult for them. When I was in the band - we rarely moved as much and played easier music - don't get me wrong we kicked butt but I think these kids today doing some great things. But, I just re-read my response to you and I didn't want to sound like a prick I just get irritated with folks who criticize these KIDS and have no idea what their talking about. I'm sorry for sounding like a stupid prick.

  • @dhutchinson86 @tylerdrummer2000 O yes let me tell you I am a looser. I dropped out of bad for these reasons. If I wanted a car and money I had to get a real job after school. Which meant no time for band. I lost interest in the band. Then, I went to night school to work full time during the day which I graduated in 2005 with honors. I'm not the smartest or the best musician, nor have I claimed to be. But I have been playing longer than probably any of you.

  • @tylerdrummer2000 So what does it matter if I didn't graduated from East Hall? I am still a band alumni for the fact of I was in it from 6th grad til 10th. I'm not the best drummer but I have performed with several well known and popular north Georgia and Atlanta bands. Band doesn't make you a musician just so you know. Also, the reason they had their whole show on the field before us is because they are a shit load smaller than what it was back then. Don't believe me? Do some research.

  • But like I said wow, honestly, you guys suck.

  • WOw east hall has really gone down hill.
