Thanks. Before this i used installous app to install cracked apps. It takes a lot of time to transfer 1.8Gb file over wifi.. Now it's much easier with itunes sync.

first of all that comment made no sense. The topics are both seperate. they were short videos so i decided to join them. The ssh is to transfer things such as themes. The syncing cracked apps is actually through itunes but you need programs from cydia.

i also tried the ip address on my pc, do i need a public ip because my network gives out private ips?

when i try to login it says network error: connection failed and it has the option for ok or reconnect. When i tried to recreate a new login it has my nic address in there 127.0.0.1 so i changed it to my ipod address. Was that incorrect? although either way it doesn't connect with the nic address or the one my ipod it set to. HELP PLEASE

Too all whose iPods say that it doesn't exist : make sure you put the correct source in for the installd patch. If you didn't the installd patch won't show up

I have a ipod touch 2g and 3.0 firmware with app sync but my apps will not sync of my ipod to itunes. Also I have downloaded ipa's from appulous and when I try to drag them into Itunes it does not work. I can download apps from my ipod but it is a lot easier to be able to do it from my computer. I am have Itunes 8.2 is there anyway I can fix this? pls help.

For the installd patch, the url begins with "iphone" and not "phone," I think is what's he's mentioning. The repository didn't work for me either until I found the right url.

You have to close and what I do is open toggle ssh and than hit deny 3 times than I hit allow or whatever twice and on the third one I hold it for a sec. Than I rerun it and it should work. If not keep trying deny than enable
