Shure she can be from Russia, BUT i think she actually is tatar girl, her name is Gimatdinova, that's typical tatar name. Could be also from Ucraine, there are Crimean tatars a lot. Or from anywhere in ex Soviet Union.:)

Yes this is typical russian(uvranian) style.But there are many dancers from Russia who dance different. For example Yassmindances very classis old Egyptian style and Maria Shashkova is gypsy and dances everything like gypsy:)

There is no denying that dance very well, but I think that for some steps will need something more of delicacy, it is very hard with hands on steps that should be more smooth ... and also think it makes the turns much faster what should. Anyway excellent dancer!
