  • Put your front foot farther back and slide it a bit farther and also lift your back foot

  • your not bringing up your back foot in time everything else is alright just work on timing...............

  • omg it went up!! (1 cm..)

  • U r doing fine~ just keep working on your balance~ trust me, my ollie is way worst than u

  • I wanna see how you skate. Make a new video

  • sell your soul for a hundred dollar bill and get a real board.. just sayin bro >.>

  • @7Trisanaty7 umm yer whateva i skate heeps better than this now and i have like 10 or so proper decks so fuck off

  • try poppping then jumping and sliding at the same time

  • For still ones:

    1. Try getting skate shoes (they help, not hating just reccomending)

    2. When u pop the board, ur turning, try real hard not to, that's one of the reasons y ur

    Not getting real high

    3. Start sliding before the tail touches down

    Hope that helps :)

  • Those skateboards r not even made for tricks

  • You need to start sliding your foot up the board before you pop the ollie and pop your ollie harder. Pull up your back foot to make it level out with the front. Just keep trying. Your pretty close. The ollie just takes a lot of practice to learn how to do.

  • When u Ollie moving lean forward so u don't fall back and when u Ollie still ur feet have to one on the back and one by the front bolts

  • 1. pop the back as hard as ya can

2.slide your foot up while you jump up

    3. your board should come with ur foot

4.make your board straight and parralell with da grond

    5. extend ur legs and balance when u land.....i can do it easily

  • Im still not so good i cant get my left foot up to slide

and the skate shoes are so expensive

    can anyone help me

  • @NYCgh96 what do you mean by you cant get your left leg up..?

just make sure your just jumping as high as possible and popping hard , you dont neeed to slide your front foot forward just up and jump forward because if you pop it hard enough the board should go up on a straight verticall angle but make sure you jump, and dont be scared to land it..

post a vid and tell me what its called and i will be able to help more

  • im better now and can ollie onto and off curbs will post a video on my progress

now i just need a deck oh and a way of getting money to get one i cant get a job that i know of because im only 13

  • mine is even worst

    well i startet learning today

  • @NYCgh96 haha lol post a vid :) im better now nd can ollie onto and off curbs will post a video on my progress

  • @mrkurtcullen please check my channel en look at my vid named skateboarding tricks:my ollie, please help i cant jump high and i land b4 the board does and it goes forward for sum reason

  • 1, dont say u suck

    2. the more u bend ur knees the higher u go :)

  • @Zirrcamelot2 lol thnx im better now im just having trouble landing them while moving but yeah thnx

  • Keep practicing dude. I suggest u pop ur board as hard as u can, then jump as high as u can, (suck ur knees up to your chest) while sliding ur foot up the board then land back down. Keep trying man. Good luck, and I used to play runescape but I hate it now I played 3 yrs ago.

  • your front foot is too far back on the board. This is just making you unbalanced. When popping smallish ollies your foot only needs to be before the front bolts, not further than half way down the board. Also you aren't popping enough, you really need to jump and push thru your knees to get higher. your back foot on the tail has to come up after you pop. Its like you have to jump and pull your feet right up. Hope this helps.

  • also It seems like your leaning back on your moving ollies. keep your body over your front foot, your shoulders keep you weighted so make sure when you pop the board to keep level. keeping your knees and shoulders in line should help this. I think the most important thing about skating is to have no fear. you cant be worried about falling or hurting yourself, otherwise you cant progress. Message me if you have any questions or wanna chat about skating :)

  • ur board is fake and heavy an ur not doin the motion of ur feet right... i started skating three weeks ago an now i can do an ollie preety high but i dont always land it.... now im doin ollie while moving - wish me luck..... my edvice is keep trying

  • @crix22x ive been practising for about 3 weeks and can ollie higher than in this vid will make a better one soon but i cant skate so much now because i tore a ligament in my foot and hurt my ankle playing footy thnx though

  • @crix22x ur ryt

  • damn i allready seen it in the begin of the vid its your foot it neet to be more to the other tail you need shoulder sice between your feets you set them to close together maybe this wil help if it dont helps then im sorry

  • things you need to do an ollie

    1. A good sk9board( you can get one in a waltmart)

    2. Dont be fearful

    3. See videos about ollie

  • @ihaveadeathnotekira urrr thnx but ive already had 3 walmart/kmart boards and they all broke within the first weekthis is my 4th one and ive seen basically all ollie tutorials amillion times over

  • @ihaveadeathnotekira also never buy a walmart board

  • Bend your knees more when u do ollie (crouch more)

  • your starting your sliding foot back to much on the board and u cant even ollie yet so u might want to keep ur foot by the front bolts and then as u push with ur back foot down just pull your knees up, dont jump just pull your knees up so u can atleast learn how to get the board up, remember u have to slide ur foot to the tip of the skateboard so that the board levels out, also dont look at other things, your still learning how to ollie focus on the board and your feet dont look any where else.

  • well i suck at these too but i can atleast get the pop but not land it and what always helps me is try to jump as high as i can and squish my knees to my chest and when u slide your front foot make sure u lift your back foot and kind of slide it forward in the air to leve lit out if that makes sense but yeah it will still be hard to learn to land tho

  • look i think theres no awsome skate cheap... this one will cost around 150 - 200 dollars. These are the materials:

-Weels: Moska Wheels (i preferr 51mm ones)

-truck: Crail (i would preferr the REAL SKATERS aproved crails but others are good too.)

-Deck: Drop dead, a 35 dollars with a nice weight.

-Bearing: Bones red, awsome, when its already hot and much used, can keep rolling for 90 secs or more :)

  • the board looks like it has no concave so is it a cheap crappy board if so it might have some bad griptape wich wont help if so get a beter board or griptape for like a fiver

  • @goldenshot66 your rite but where can i get a good cheap board im tight on cash and i live in australia so dont say zumies or sum shit like that

  • @mrkurtcullen i am not sure cos i live in england here is all the websites i no

routeone nativeskatestores rollersnakes prolineskates skateboards of choice

  • get skateboarding shoes!

  • it might help if you put your front foot a little closer to the front bolts, and then just try to press your back foot on the ground as hard as you can, and jump as high as you can, but yeah you are getting there, just practice alot, and let me know if this helps!!1

  • 4 simple rules

    1. pop hard

2.slide from the side of ur foot and slide like ur mad

3.jump high (knees up to ur chest)

    4.have fun!

i learned to ollie in 1 day lol easy

  • @baberaider18 haha ive been practising prperly for like a week like theres nothing wrong with me is there ?.....

  • @mrkurtcullen wait so u have been praticing ollieing like the way i told u too? there is nothing rong with anybody just practice hard i got it in 1 day u can too

  • go zumies 4 good board

  • dear god your terrible and 1 problem is prob cuz it cheap board and you also need to remember to lift your backfoot 2

  • Move your front foot more up. When you get used to the ollie, then you can push it back more for bigger height, but right now, all you need to do is get familiar with them. So having your front foot 1/2 an inch from the bolts is all you need.

  • Not too bad for a begginer heres some tips:

    1) I would buy some skate shoes, osiris dc and 6.0s are prty good but they can get expensive, vans would be good for u cuz theyre only about 40 bucks at the mall

    2) I would look for a deck with more of a curve on the nose and tail for your foot to catch on when you slide forward

3)pop AS HARD AND JUMP AS HIGH AS YOU CAN and remember to turn your front ankle and slide forward

  • Buy skate shoes.... If u want design go wit Osiris or if u want more of an original go wit DC or Volcom.... It'll help a lot

  • try bending down a bit more when you pop you're board, face you're knees the same way as you're feet, and spread you're feet further apart, or just try not to lean so much, if none of that helps it's most likely fear of wiping out.

  • your first ollie was OK but pop harder and and jump higher

  • try putting your front foot closer to the bolts and slide your foot and jump, good job though

  • @Wilhis97 they have more of a grip to it and more padding to it

  • well 1st get a better board not a $100 board but a better one. 1st when you pop ur back tail a little more and jump with/higher with the board. 2ed slide your front foot at a angle to the front of the blots. let me know if i help any..

  • sup buddy, your problem is simple.

all you need to do is move your right leg up too when you pop.

  • @xKnuckleHeadNinja u mean slide higher or further?

  • Never slide the front foot forward, that will cause your board to run off like a ...yeah.

    1. Jump as high as you can.

    2. Slide your foot vertically (up). That will level your board out.

    3. Jump with your backfoot. more than you are currently doing.

  • @mrkurtcullen

Pull your back foot up right after you pop the board. bring both knees up to ur chest right after u pop

  • lol the first one was a kickflip

  • jump higher pop harder keep your weight centered and try to keep your shoulders square with your board.....and also spend less time making videos on youtube and mor time practicing

  • Pop harder also jump and slide a bit more so put front like kinds a bit behind tthe middle of the board also look at my skating videos on my channel

  • Ur supposed to JUMP with the board
