i have been trying to get this 3g unrestrictor to work for months. it seems like it defeats it own purpose. it wont work anywhere. i am on a prepaid 02 sim and i do not get edge or 3g with 02. do i have to use att? i have all 3 sims, at&t, t mobile or 02 all prepaid. i am jail broken unlocked on 4.0.(3g iphone) i have voip but can only call in wifi. if i can get voip with a regular carrier signal, i will have a totally free phone. as it is now, it only cost me about $20 every 3 months. help

@CortlovesherMarine What I'm saying is that you can't get on 3g internet if you don't have a data plan. Now if it's not working for you it could POSSIBLY be because it's not the iPhone data plan. Or there's just something wrong with the way the unrestrictor was installed to your phone. If you ARE ON 3G AND you have the unrestrictor on your phone then it should work. Otherwise, something went wrong with yours. When you turn 3g on, your phone is supposed to assume that it is wifi.

@stripervince1 why don't you chill out there, honkey. 3g unrestrictor is made so that applications, which restrict certain features over a 3g connection, will not be limited to just the basic functions that a regular 3g connection would allow. It doesn't speed up your connection or give you free internet access. All it does is it tells the application to not limit any functionality. For example, when you use facetime on the iPhone4, you are unable to do so unless you are on wifi. (cont.)

Granted, the quality won't be as good as if you were on wifi.(clearly because 3g is a slower connection which transfers less data) I'm assuming you are under the wrong impression as to what the 3g unrestrictor is made for.(as everyone else, who is pissed and asking stupid questions, is.)
