@1990Matze your inferiority complex is showing, du sau. Maybe someday you will grow up into a confident person. Right now you are just embarrassing yourself.
@Squirmywormy666 many people do that and its not really closed in....my friends grandpa goes hunting on farmers land and stuff all the time u just gotta ask for permission.....but its not unfair to the animal or anything they can get away just as if there was no fence around them
where did you buy that quackenbush .457?? and how much did it cost?? freaken awsome first time seeing an airgun being used for this kind of hunting. will be waiting for your response.
Well I have to say when I heard about hunting something larger than a squirrle with an air rifle I figured it was bullshit. But hell if that really was an air rifle I guess it is possible. That was a good clean kill. I just remember being a kid with my daisy powerline .177cal and the largest thing I ever took was a possum with a steel pellet in the neck, and I was amazed that even worked at the time lol.
Well, it was a fair shot, better than some retards who get within 10 yards of a domesticated pig and shoot him in the head then call themselves hunters! At least in this video there was some distance and the ram had a chance to run. These Quackenbush guns have good power but a 9mm Career 100gr bullet would drop the ram just as easy at this distance and it costs only $500.
The pigs have a chance to run when you get within 10yards of them. It doesn't matter how much distance there is when the goal is to put meat in the deep freezer.
At least Quackenbush guns are made in America. The American made bullets are available in stores around the country too.
If you can get within 10 yards of any animal that means they're domesticated or used to humans, I don't know about you but that's not a fair chance to me, no challenge either. If the family is hungry & can't afford meat then it makes sense.
Yes quakenbush is made here but can't touch one for under $1000-$1200. With a scuba tank it's a $1800 package!
I like american ammo only if German or British made at the same price are not available. I use American hard-cast bullets in mine in .25 and 9mm.
My 9mm is $450, runs a 130gr through 5" of wood & I just started using 115 and 130gr bullets from Moyers. I like Hornady but they're expensive at $14/100, Moyers sells 100 for $7.
I even got 95gr long bullets for my .25. haven't tested that yet. 4" at 100 is good. Last week-end I hit a coke-can 3 out of 4 at 100( I shoot from 1 powerline pole to another). As soon as I buy a good camcorder I'll post videos here.
Buy 1 box of British ELEY bullets or Ger.H&N diabolo(small caliber) compare quality.
uuummmm.....where was the sport in that? I've been hunting since I was a kid, and NEVER was I able to say "perfect shot right here" get into position, say "right behind the shoulder" and bag some meat. nice pet and shoot man.
As far as i understood, they do something like .40 or something wheighting 400 grains. im not sure, but i think this is. Although i think that in a lucky situation you might be able to take down something just a little smaller with a skillful shot in a powerfull small bore like an evanix. something like the back of the neck to crush the spinal cord would disable the entire body. If the animal doesnt die or faint in the instant it wouldt feel a thing anyway.

Q's 308cal is available for about $600. You don't need a scuba tank. If you buy a hand pump you are set.

Buying foreign ammo is just throwing money out of your economy. It isn't like German and Brit ammo isn't any better.
I reload with Lyman and Hornady bullets with 44 magnum and can keep shots within 4 inches at 100 yards with a 6 inch barrel.

6" PCP pictol or 44mag?
Hesam0000 3 years ago
44 magnum. Smith and Wesson model 29.
