Robert. You are just so talented. I may seem creepy trying to comment on all your internet media, but I just am trying to catch your attention. LOVE YOU
I don't even remember how I found this song. It was a few years ago, kind of an Easter Egg on my iPod-my only song by Robert Francis and I had no idea how it got on there but I completely fell in love with it. Over the years my iPod got restored and updated and I lost the song but occasionally it would just pop into my head and I'd remember how much I loved it, and I'd have to listen to it again. Tonight is one of those times-it's 2:17am but I just had the biggest urge to fall in love again.
I first heard this song a couple years back on the Carson Daily show and it made me cry. I never watch that show but some reason I did I've had it on a Bon Iver / Fleetfoxes playlist that I often listen to ever since.
i tried writting the lyrics for the song but i always got stuk on the "reciever" part.. heh, danka for the lyrics :]
i love this song; i saw him perform on tv n i was gonna change the channel but i was washing the dishes so i couldnt and half way through, i was humming it!... hehe :D sweet!
I think is great...is different from the bands of this days... I really like his music.....i heard that his record was released, but the problem is that i live in Mexico, and I don't think i can get his record here...Can someone help me to, at least, get his songs?...please
This is real Dylan like talent.....Maybe more than..... I remember "Blowin in the Wind" I mean when it came out in '63 This song is like that. It transcends the artists age and experential expectancy Oh yeah Carson Daly rocks
Heard Robert Francis play this song on Carson Daly the other night. I never watch that show, but this song caught my ears while flipping channels. Very pretty.
oh, wow, I couoldn't find the lyrics to this song anywhere. I was just about to listen to it over and over again so i could write down the lyrics. Thanks :)
I also caught Robert on Carson Daley. I had fallen asleep with the tv on hours before and this beautiful song woke me up from a deep sleep right in the middle of the chorus. Sure glad it did! What a great poet and musician!!!
I also caught Robert on Carson Daly's show and have to say that he brought tears to the eyes of this jaded, mid-40's music fan. The song is beautiful and Francis' (and his band's) performance was so inspired and soulful. It's just good to know that the future of music is in good hands with this guy. Again, I love all kinds of music, but these days you almost have to hunt for these kind of artists, as the radio usually ignores them. Robert Francis is truly worthy of discovery!
I agree! Saw this guy on Last Call with Carson Daly, gave him a 30 second chance to blow me away! Totally did. 30 secs turned into the whole song. Anyway, dig this version but loved the live version!!!
First time I heard this song and Robert Francis was last night surfing the tele, caught my attention. Hypnotic vocals and amazing instrumentals. Definitely eager to see what else he has to offer and will snag the album.
GR8 !!! !!! !!!

"Each day goes by Where the world looks the same Where the seasons come and change But I find myself the way I came
I've lost all the things That I lost in you From losing ourselves In each other like we use to do
Time moves on and those moments That I held in my heart each day Have now disappeared"
so sad...such a good song though and the music is very catchy. <3
