this game is good, just is not a classic rpg...there s nothing bad with it, some people like it, some dont, i like old FF, 7 and 8...but i like overall also X and XII.

this is a little bit different, it doesnt mean is not good, there are alot of stuff to do in it...and its fun to play ...the story maybe is not epic like in FF7, but is good, im w8 for ff13 versus too, and i hope that will be even better than this.

for me this game is 9 out 10.

@SoulReaper354 just use in the beggining vannile as sabotuer and fang as commando and switch to vannile as medic and fang as senitel just before he turns into combat mode and spam heal fang and ur self wen he goes back to defense status go to ravager u will do more damage with the sabotuer debuffs u put on him, and just keep doin the same thing till u obtain him :)

The big mistake they made this installment is that for the first couple of hours worth of game play, they don't reveal enough about the characters, nor at a fast enough pace. That and much of the lovely combat system doesn't start showing up until further into the game.

Oh... Well it got mixed reviews... The lowest one was 5/10 from Edge Magazine... But that's the only one that went past a 71/100... Most were 9/10's and one even gave it a 120/100...

But I hardly trust reviews anymore these days anyways so I might just wanna play the game by myself =P

@Noneliver You're right. People are just judging a game that they either haven't played or only played the japanese edition. Japanese is buzz kill on the story. English reviews are coming soon so people can get a better idea if the game is for them. But I think if someone doesn't like it, they should to at least not call it out for following the JRPG gameplay style cuz they've done it from the beginning.

@tsonukarabocado Its also called a security blanket. They are scared to try and adventure off into new things because new is scary. No use living in the past.. The old games and battle systems were good for their time. I still enjoy the turn base! It is ok to use the security blanket in moderations but at some point you have to let go of your security blanket or youll never really 'grow' to appreciate new things. You will only know of the old.
