@xiuyuansean G isn't a force, correct. but to say 1600G as a force would be 1600 times the force of gravity, so if the round has a mass 1kg you multiply by 9.81 then multiply again by 1600 to get the total force of gravity acting on the round. what they said is sound and to be an expert in something you don't need a degree, all a degree says is that you have studied formally. the statements in this video are relevant and factual and do not warrant a comment like that.

@T1JumpTIX Actually when the thing duds it burys itself and because it goes unobserved an EOD team in immediatly sent out. also you have to figure that an FO is still in the area and can call unobserved and you can go and search for it. Also all of the electronics and software are kaput when it hits the ground.

I would think that having it disarm itself if it can't hit its target a bad thing. Because then, some bomb tech finds it, removes the explosives, and now your enemy can copy your shell design, and start decimating YOUR troops. I personally think instead of disarming itself it should self detonate prematurely.
