I am gooing to buy either one camera or this phone this month and I really don't know which one should I go for,

The sound is just horrible, the reason why: they use the low-quality AMR Narrow Band codec at 8000Hz 16 bit 2 channel 12.8 Kbps bit rate. They said it's not to stress the ARM CPU too heavily when recording HD video.

Too much stutter/lag. No where near the smoothness of Nokia N95 and that was old...

what i noticed in all omnia hd video samples that the are all laggy... idont know why! .. is it because it's 24 f/s ?! .. or its an issue that will be solved in future updates? till now i prefer taking videos with my LG renoir :)

Why is that a big deal? The eye only sees at 24 frames anyway. Motion pictures are all 24 frames per second. Anything above makes the action look like it's in fast forward. 15 fps would be bad.

For a Mobile Phone the quality is amazing. Pity the sound doesn't match.
