No, they canned the production of Turok 2 sometime last year. Propaganda layed off most of their employee's to work on something else. They might eventually come back to this game though.

I would want to know what was the ideea with that gas or what was the true purpose for terraforming that planet and the dinos.

I'd love to see more dinos like a kool looking terraformed-ish spinosaurus or some triceratops.

This game is very good, but I still think that a remake of the first Turok (The dinosaur hunter) would be awesome. I mean, I grew up with that game and it' started that "dinosaur hunting instinct" we see on the new Turok.

The major flaws that are in this game. Space marines, the lack of weapons(since the originals prided itself on its wide variety of kick-arse weapons), you can't keep your weapons like the previous games, too linear, and DUEL FUCKING WIELDING(I fucking hate that shit).

Pros, the knife and the bow, the dinosaurs, the graphics, and the music. That's it.

Side note Multiplayer can't be judged for it is pretty much dead and the story is meh.

@Danzilla1996 The reason you liked it is because you missed the old ones and fans of the old ones hate this one and what I said were valid complaints and I did give the game credit for what it did right, so I wasn't completely panning the game. Perhaps you liked it because you probably think CoD or Halo are either the greatest first person shooters if not the greatest games of all time. Now if this game didn't Have Turok in the name, I would have liked it more than I did.

I don't understand why people are shunning this game so much, I mean it had its flaws - the knife kills with the dinos sure - but it was the first 'awesome' game I got for the PS3. Not to be nasty to people who wanted the 'old' Turok, but that type of storyline I - THINK - wouldn't have sold on the next gen platforms apart from those who loved the 'old' Turok.

IMO this game is medicore. First off, Im not a fanboy, I loved the old games, but I was still excited about the idea of a reboot of the series with a more realistic aproach. What partialy ruined it for me was:

The tunnel fights with humans, totaly average fps stuff, just boring.

Most Dinosaurs were harmless -run into Raptor pack - wait till button apears - instant kill while being invincible - next!

Still I would check out another game, it has such potential.

turok on ps3 is the unique and original of turok. the best of all series. it really showed somwething new and so good to play. it was worthy alot. i was surprised to see how far and good the could have jumped from n64 bad ones up to ps3 very good game

this game is so underestimated, I dont get it, i've copleated it two times, and this is verry possitive for a game nowdays. Sometimes you can literally feel the "hunt" pushing forvard with your bow or a knife.

I encountered a bug for this game on pc on like the third last level. when I reach the check point where the sniper dies, and when I die and go back to the check point, the character can't do anything, he can't move, look around, shoot. Any solutions?

Yes, Turok 2 was definitely the best of the pack, followed closely by Turok Dinosaur Hunter for the N64 and this one IMO. However, I think that Turok Evolution music was great too, although not as epic as 2. Overall, all Turok games are great fun and have well done and catchy music too.
