Gulfway insurance in floeida will insure it under their collector truck program. Thats where i have my antique white 9000 semi at. and its cheap.

@kansascat321 I have a 1951 Kenworth 2 axle semi that I am having a difficult time getting insurance for. If you follow the link on my YouTube channel page to my myspace page, you can see a pic of my truck. In California it's impossible to register a vehicle until it is insured. Do you think Gulfway Insurance could help me? The only other possibility I can come up with is to put my truck in California's assigned risk pool, but that would be extremely expensive.

@DieselPowerTV Have you tried checking with Gulfway or Nationwide? I have a 1956 White 9000TD and they said it would be roughly $700 per year for insurance on it. You should check into the American Truck Historical Society, they can help you get your A-Car on the the road again. I'm going to take a guess and say your truck is a early 60's model?

@teeter1939 Here in the Hawaiian Islands it's not uncommon to find trucks from the early 60's still on the road, plus the insurance is cheaper than brand new...
