good work . the 7d is gr8 to use . i shot a documentary in srilanka with the 7d .. the only issue i faced was the camera getting heated .

@geoffdoor not necessarily. this short is more artistic then most journalistic features. not showing mouths talk gives a more unified "voice" of the people, \rather then an individual. but that's just my view.

Questions about political docs. I just attended a film festival and all documentaries were political. This is wonderful footage but I wonder is it our job as filmmakers to give answers to people or pose questions? As an audience member I don't want to feel like I'm watching a commercial for the director's political views. What do you thing? Political docs as journalism or is there artistic value to this? Anyway... wonderful footage with 7D. :)

In Australia we missed the economic downturn altogether. We are still doing extremely well.Because the government here gave cash to the people and not to the banks. The banks in the U.S should have been allowed to fail for their greed and stupidity.I love the idea of shooting on a 7D and have just bought one and maybe a Panasonic Af100 if it lives up to expectations.

Oh my gosh, I love this. You've filmed it really well and used the camera to the best of its abilities. There's some really nice shots (especially the ones of people jogging and parts of the random people in the city.) This probably wont mean much coming from me but I really enjoyed it!

DSLRs are game changers. Like empire America, empire hollywood is dying. No longer do you need larger, expensive & purpose built, video cameras that were available even just a few years ago. Now the medium of film is available to anyone. All you need is two grand, experience, and taste to create something truly interesting than the feculent slime hollywood's privileged dump on the us "little people."
