@shairaptor Yeah, he's my favorite character. At least, from the seasons I've seen. He's got a very well developed backstory for a (partial) antagonist in a kid's show. All the episodes focusing around him make me cry, especially near the end of the season.

@wolfgirl44 yes, that's exactly what I've written one of my email contacts the other minute. I love Digimon especially season 3 (tamers) but 1 and 2 as well, because the characters develop, they have emotions, a detailed background story, a reason for what they do etc. Because of that, it's so much better than Pokemon! In Pokemon, every episode is virtually the same, which is boring. Monster Rancher I can recommend too for the same reasons as Digimon :)

They can't really be compared. Aside from having 'mon' in the name and featuring cuddly critters, they're very different shows. Pokemon is what I watch when I want to laugh and see some impressive animated fights, I watch Digimon for the plot.

@wolfgirl44 yes I guess you can say that! You should check out Monster Rancher. It combines the best elements from both Pokemon *and* Digimon. The first episodes are kind of childish, but later on, a great story develops and you learn a lot from the intriguing background story of each character.

...No, I'm pretty sure that the Runaway Locomon movie has been dubbed in English. In fact, I watched it on TV one time. And I have it on my computer. I use it in AMVs sometimes.

...The entire series is a dub. There is no difference between the Japanese and the English except that the English dub cut a few scenes for violence. They are the same show. No difference. Anything that happens in one, happens in the other. Because they are the same show. The SAME SHOW.

It's pretty simple, really. It's a way of color-coding his alligiance. Put simply, his eyes are red when he's a bad guy and green when he's a good guy. *nod*

actually, it's his mode change to blast mode. in runaway locomon when he was in normal mode, he still had red eyes.
