Me and my wife did the same thing in the exact same spot. It's a little steeper looking in real life, nice roots there as well

I'm pretty sure that's Schulz Creek, not Sunset. And the line is up high.

You are correct, however it is part of the Sunset Loop Trail that we were riding.
