  • their fights not his*

  • Comment removed

  • One dude has both the top comments...

  • Wow this fight ended nothing like I predicted... couldn't chop him down in time with the thai kicks and wasn't sufficient with hands... props to boxing for holding its own

  • @OhWellFuckYou Yeah that boxer sure did mess that wrestler up in that kick boxing match.

  • <3 boxing, but immortalsyn is right..or bruce le is right :).

  • @GamingUpdated It's actually Bruce Lee but I ran out of space. =P

  • Floyd Mayweather vs Jose Aldo

that would be a good fight

  • @Spider58x

    HAHHAHAHAH

  • @Spider58x At least give Mayweather a chance, give him that former female champion Cyborg. My money is still on Cyborg though...

  • @Immortalsyn83

    LMAO!!!!

  • @Immortalsyn83 to bad it wasn't a MMA fighter beating a boxer in MMA then it would matter right? LOL why is this any different then james toney vs couture? Except the fact the boxing community doesn't take this or any mma fighter for that matter serious. If mercer can KO sylvia (who is easily top ten MMA HW of all time) then mayweather would have a shot against anyone. Give Mayweather year or 2 of training he would be one of the best MMA fighters in the world

  • @cpaignboxing Yes because then a "MMA fighter" could utilize his dominate skill set IE (wrestling since that's his background.) Toney wasn't being restricted in MMA, he was just outclassed as Couture would be in a boxing match. Making a video "Boxer vs MMA fighter" I expect to see MMA, not a kickboxing match. Background on Mercer v Sylvia was supposed to be a boxing bout which couldn't get sanctioned so Sylvia trained to box a boxer in MMA. I don't see Floyd being that good in MMA.

  • @Immortalsyn83 its scary what floyd would do any MMA fighter hes just to elusive especially with mma's ugly ass punches that even a senior citizen can evade shit their handspeed is slower than a week in jail

  • @MrEl7decopas I doubt many MMA fighters fear his power & once Floyd was on his back all his striking is completely nullified. MMA encompasses boxing but boxing in full body combat is much different than a pro boxing match. You only have to worry about hands & nothing else. Jail... that's where Floyd belongs for beating his wife in front of his children.

  • @Immortalsyn83 thats assuming the mma fighter can actually bring it to the ground if he cant hed get picked apart hed just side step him and end up KO em they way Floyd did to Ricky Hatton by sidestepping and wacking him its gonna be a boxing clinic unless the mma fighter can get it to the ground and the James Toney fight is a horrible analogy....Toney isnt even a top 100 of all time boxer and was past his prime tell me why Dana White didnt allow Silva to fight Hopkins????

  • @Immortalsyn83 MMA's boxing is horrible no head movement footwork sucks and hand speed sucks

  • @MrEl7decopas I doubt many MMA fighters fear his power & once Floyd was on his back all his striking is completely nullified. MMA encompasses boxing but boxing in full body combat is much different than a pro boxing match. They only have to worry about hands & nothing else.

  • @MrEl7decopas I doubt many MMA fighters fear his power & once Floyd was on his back all his striking is completely nullified.

  • @MrEl7decopas I doubt any MMA fighters fear Floyd's power & once Mayfeather was on his back all his striking would be completely nullified.

  • @Immortalsyn83 Sylva lost because he was knocked out. Mercer went to the ground after he knocked down Sylva.

  • @WeAreAll0ne1 Yes but did you know there match was originally scheduled to be a boxing match? Only days prior it was changed to an MMA bout due to sanctioning problems. Sylvia focused his entire training camp for a stand up with Mercer & had know interest in taking the easy win. Kimbo by this point already laid the blueprint on how to easily beat Mercer. Sylvia has admitted he was over confident in his stand up, should have used a better game plan.

  • @Spider58x no it wouldnt aldo would kill him.boxers are better PUNCHERS thats it.anything else they know nothing about fighting.mma fighters are superior fighters boxers superior punchers only.boxing not complete enough to compete against mma.but i respect boxing dont get me wrong

  • @rippedonchronic MMA stand up is horryfing no head movement footwork is awful hand speed sucks their sloppy and slower than a week in jail

  • @Spider58x no it wouldnt aldo would kill him.boxers are only superior punchers not superior fighters.anyone who has any kind of training whatsoever would know this.no disrespect to boxing

  • @rippedonchronic

I would still watch it though lol

  • @rippedonchronic no style is greater there are only better fighters not better styles and MMA= a jack of all trades knows a lot of styles but sucks at most of em boxing is underrated by many but they dont call it the sweet science for nothing

  • Tom Erikson was one of the best MMA fighters of the 90's. Way ahead of his time. Problem is, he was a wrestler. Without grappling, he's neutered against someone like Briggs.

  • @ThePinkMan wrestling is a form of grappling what you think it is

  • They should put him against Overeem. That would be interesting!

  • why the fuck are there there two videos playing in one...

  • This isnt mma you fucking moron! Look up the definition of mma (mixed martial arts). This guy is a kick boxer & not from a sport of mma (like UFC or Pride FC). Also, you have to take the boxer to the mma & not the mma to the boxer because mma is more like an actual street fight as to where you brought the kick boxer to a boxing ring basically. If this was the mma, the guy would have been smart enough to know that he should take the boxer dwn u dont bring a lion to fight a croc in water.

  • @Acebeats1 100% agree!

  • @Acebeats1 more like a street fight wow now ive heard it all.... MMA is a sport and if your in an urban area and 5 crips jump ur not gonna tell one of the thugz "hey, dude hold on while i submit your friend.... thats what sucks about grappling its only effective against 1 opponent boxing and any striking art works anywhere against anything

  • @MrEl7decopas You obviously didn't understand my implication dude. I wasnt comparing it in that way. I didn't say mma vs crips you fucktard. I said the boxer vs mma in a mma ring. Youre right about people being cowardly cheaters and jumping people like pussies, but Im talking about a fair 1 on 1 fight of the mma vs boxer. If the 2 met in a street fight, then the boxer would most likely lose because throwing punches is too limited & boxers don't know how to fight on the ground. Its proven already

  • @Acebeats1 once again dumbass if someone can side step and avoid a tackle the mma fighter is forced to fight upstairs and they have nothing upstairs but ugly hay makers that even a senior citizen can evade and proven how by a past his prime toney who wasnt even that good in his youth to begin with.... please i guess thats why Dana White shit his pants when hopkins challenged silva

  • @MrEl7decopas LOL me the dumb ass? You're the one that doesnt even know how to compare. You make it sound soo easy to avoid a take down on the boxers end, but that's where the problem is that you guys don't seem to realize. You're not trained to avoid take downs. You have no take down defense. It's easier for the mma fighter to take you down than it is for the boxer to avoid it (hence thats why most fights end up on the ground. Just stop by any mma gym and try it. Trust me, it's a lot harder.

  • @Acebeats1 its called side steppin its older than pie that or an upper cut when the mma guy is coming in for the take down and chances are that if an MMA guy fails at bringing a boxer to the ground hes done hes gonna get picked apart and KOed that and their chins are horrible

  • @MrEl7decopas they dont stress body punching either enough punches to the liver and ur worn out and done that is a boxers expertice

  • @MrEl7decopas I boxed for 7 1/2 yrs with both Winky Wright & Jeff Lacy's gym & have a boxing record of 13-0. So I have experience in both sports. Just type "Randy Couture vs James Toney" into the youtube search engine & you will see what Im talking about. Boxers aren't trained to avoid even a single leg take down which any average mma fighter knows better than to get caught in. Just watch how Randy took James Tony down with no problem and submitted him. There has been plenty of examples already.

  • @Acebeats1 same fucked up reference an over weight James Toney That wasnt even in his prime and is a bum in the boxing world and the only way hell see the hall of fame is on a bus tour

  • @MrEl7decopas Once again, you don't understand the comparison. You DON'T take the mma fighter to a boxing ring & only allow for boxing. I know that the boxer has the advantage you in this case idiot. I'm sayin that you take the Boxer & let him stick to his boxing in a mma ring & let the mma fighter shoot for take downs & submission. The MMA fighter will win majority of the time because they can easily take the boxer down. That's the comparison you tool.

  • @Acebeats1 ya like a boxer is gonna stay in the same spot all the time reserch Willie Pep u idiot or Pernell Whitaker they were highly mobile a slower than molasses toney is a horrible analogy tell me why Dana wouldnt allow Silva to fight Hopkins I didnt think so nice try

  • @Acebeats1 BOXING IS TOO LIMITED PERIOD!!!

  • @Acebeats1 limited but taken to its highest potential thats called speciality not learn 10 arts and suck at all of them

  • mma and boxing are completely different styles.

you guys are talking about these styles as if they had no rules. I am a boxer, and I would challenge any mma fighter to the street. (Note: I said to the street, don't be surprised if I pull a gun)

  • @RusPrideAK You would pull a gun because you're a cheater who is too cowardly to fight fairly, but that's not how you should look at it because that wasn't the comparison. We're talking about boxing being a very incomplete art of fighting & how MMA fighters are all around complete fighters. They would easily take down any boxer and submit them in most cases as this has already been proven numerous times. Pulling a gun is for sissies dude. Fight a straight up 1 on 1 & then we'll talk...

  • @Acebeats1 mma fighter= jack of all trades knows 5 arts but sucks at all of them how is that a complete fighter when he sucks at all of them and the reference RusPrideAK puts is exelelent... im tired of mma fanboys sayin mma is like a real fight no its not if they pull a knife out im sure tackling him and submittiing will work ya great by bringing the individual with the knife closer to u

  • @Acebeats1 you sound like a 13 year old kid. If I''m on the street, and I have a gun, and some guy comes up to me and starts swinging, why on earth should I waste my time fighting him when I can easily shoot him? You say pulling guns on the streets is for cheaters? how did I cheat by pulling a gun? there is no such a rule on the street that say "if you get in a street fight, don't pull a gun", in fact, there are no rules at all. You MMA fan boy fucks can barely throw a jab.

  • Boxers fight like men standing and punching while mma fighters are quick to hug so they can get dry humped in the ground for five minutes

  • @kingeliaszy69 Until the man gets choked out from not knowing how to defend a choke. Now "the man" is a helpless victim because he was too proud to learn a proper defense... "Dry humping" is the common excuses (usually from ignorant boxing fans) that know very little about fighting. Hugging more commonly known as clenching is what heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko does...

  • @Immortalsyn83 lol mma champions are champions for about two hours.... Julio Cesar Chavez was undefeated for 13 years over ninety fights and winning champioships in 3 different weight classes....

  • @kingeliaszy69 You wouldn't be saying that when they are the one choking your little pussy ass out. You're talk is cheap, but you don't understand the science of fighting because if you did, then you wouldn't be saying that. Go to an mma gym & say that. They would just laugh at you because they have a complete art of fighting & know that there is more than 1 way to defeat your opponents rather just throwing punches. You're a dumb ass dude...

  • @Acebeats1 me and my friend train at a gym where they offer both and mma guys go in and spar with us they are really nice but have no defense and upstairs will always lose to a boxer even with kicks or take downs the key is timing and side steppin u do that and ur golden

  • Why the hell is he trying to box with a boxer? didnt even go for a takedown he deserved that

  • @silentchaos1 Because it's kickboxing.

  • Doodlebeanz is a dick Ali would get fucked by fedor not even one ounce of a chance unless it was a boxing match

  • @FreeWillyForMe boxer hit a lot harder than a mma, and they hit a lot faster, the only way that a mma fighter could win against a pro boxer is the ground, one hit an you're KO man.

  • @FreeWillyForMe lol tyson would KO any mma fighter they have no chin

  • Take the best middle weight MMA fighter, then imagine him in conflict with Nigel Benn, both in there prime. Boxing it just a superior fighting style; boxers are also conditioned in every part of there body, there is barely an ounce of fat on a decent pro boxer, then again, nowadays if you look at heavyweights it's all gone to pot and swing at each other like dickheads, but then take the best heavyweight MMA fighter and put them in the ring against Muhammad Ali. It's the boxer both times.

  • @DoodleBeanzz it will always come down to who is better at their craft... a great mma fighter will never hit harder then a great boxer, just like a great boxer will never kick harder then a great mma fighter. These arguments are frivolous, there is not one art better then the next.

  • @DoodleBeanzz There is know superior fighting style, I think Bruce Le said it best: "The best fighter is not a Boxer, Karate or Judo man. The best fighter is someone who can adapt to any style, to be formless, to adopt an individual's own style and not following the system of styles."

There was plenty of fat on butterbean when he was a pro boxer, Toney ect. You can't judge or generalize an entire sport by assuming, everyone is different. BTW Muhammad Ali lost to Inoki! ROFL!

  • @Immortalsyn83 So MMA right

  • @Immortalsyn83 dempsey beat wreslers all the time styles amke fights and ali's style was weak against wrestling doesnt mean jack there are different styles within boxing einstein

  • @MrEl7decopas Of course there are different styles to wrestling to genius. Boxing within MMA is much different than boxing in pro boxing. It's much easier to make a mistake in 8 limb combat with submissions, so you can't let your hands fly as freely. The 1st major encounter between a boxer & wrestler in modern times took place in 1887. John L. Sullivan, then HW world boxing champ, entered the ring against Greco-Roman wrestling champion William Muldoon. He was slammed to the mat in two minutes.

  • @Immortalsyn83 first off the men you are comparing are slower as fuck reserch willie pep or pernell whitaker they were highly mobile and would give an mma fighter fits about not staying in one spot thats the key to victory against mma sidesteppin and remaining mobile if the fight stays upstairs mma loses big time there handspeed sucks and there punches arent that impressive their kicks are average....mma= wrestlers that are allowed to punch thats it theres nothing impressive about their stand up

  • @Immortalsyn83 MMA fanboys always brag about how an MMA fighter can beat a boxer or anyother fighter in many ways no they cant.... the only way they can is by draggin the fight to the ground if this fails they lose... boxing is underrated by dumb ppl that dont understand thats its not about the power behind a punch but the volume of punches and the waering down of an oponent mma doesnt stress any of that its one dimensional in the fact that strategy is weak since u have so many tools

  • @Immortalsyn83 I agree a fight between a boxer and a MMA fighter allowing the mma guy to do anything but lets make it interesting lets make it 15 rounds not your shitty five round fights

  • @MrEl7decopas A boxing match is only 11 minutes longer than a main event, but they also get 3x more breaks. Why make it 15 rounds? Most pro boxers whom have crossed into MMA haven't even lasted one round.

I would love if boxing would go back to 15 rounds, 12 causes too many draws. I would wager Overeem or Anderson would annihilate any boxer in MMA without going to the ground. Strategy in MMA is much more complex because of the dynamics of full body combat. I would love to see Manny vs Buakaw.

  • @Immortalsyn83 ya lol like Lesnar who retired after seven fights and who cant take a punch lol annihilate a boxer without goin to the ground i guess thats why Silva ducked Hopkins right their ugly hay makers are easily avoided and even the best strikers in mma cant strike as well as a boxer nick diaz was a bum as a boxer and hes done decent... an mma fighter isnt invincible their quite beatable and i gurantee if the fight goes to 15 its a KO win for the boxer mma guys have shitty stamina

  • @MrEl7decopas Lesnar retired because of diverticulitis & Silva never planed at any time to fight Hopkins. It was Roy Jones he was interested in boxing, however hes a UFC champion & is contractually obligated to continue defending his title. Freddie Roach said Diaz is a good puncher but not a good boxer. I agree with his assessment. No man is invincible but I would still have my money on those two if they fought any boxer in MMA. It's very hard to stay undefeated in MMA, every fight is different.

  • @Immortalsyn83 nope not for me if its a boxing bout hopkins or Jones would pick anybody apart shit even Joe Calzage has a chance againt mma and it wasnt silva it was Dana White that ducked it why cuz if Silva lost it would Make the UFC look bad

  • @MrEl7decopas lesnar with or without an illness has shit for defance and has a glass jaw like most mma fighters

  • @MrEl7decopas Putting a wrestler in a boxing match only proves that he isn't a boxer. Everyone Lesnar lost to was a former champion, I would love to see any current boxer come over to MMA & achieve what he did in such a short amount of time. UFC has always made his fighters fight in ONLY there events so they can control the top talent. Your point again is flawed...

  • @Immortalsyn83 he was givin a title shot way to quick and that still doesnt defend the fact he has shit for defance and a glass jaw

  • @MrEl7decopas In his UFC debut he almost beat a former champion, MMA isn't like boxing. Boxing isn't full body combative sport & therefore a wrestling super star would have zero interest in a boxing competition. You mistake glass jaw for someone who doesn't respond well to damage. Lesnar was never KO'd once so AGAIN your point's are flawed.

  • @Immortalsyn83 thats a glass jaw unless u specificly pick a striker than u pick anybody in the ufc and most of them are grapllers that dont know how to take a punch they are useless unless they can drag a boxer down face it without the ground game the boxer wins

  • @MrEl7decopas Definition of a glass jaw: "Vulnerability of a boxer to a knockout punch." I do agree there is a counter to every style & a pure boxers biggest weakness is a phenomenal wrestler with a solid ground game. A boxing stance also makes it easy to kick the lead leg out. The only way a boxer has a chance in MMA is to become a well rounded fighter like JDS. I have my money on Overeem though for UFC 146.

  • @Immortalsyn83 the key is what style of boxing u put I train with mma guys at the gym i train in and have been submitted but i have learned from my mistakes and i dont need to learn anything but master my craft in order to win sidesteppinn and wearing and opponent down once mobility isnt an issue u go for the kill ive done it and im an amateur imagine wat someone like Juan Manuel Marquez, Floyd Mayweather Jr., or Manny Pacquiao can do.... avoid the take down with sidestepping

  • @MrEl7decopas I think those guys could do well in MMA but I don't know if they are world beaters. Just like those guys train night in day to prefect their craft, grapplers do the same. Everyone in MMA needs a ground game because you will eventually find yourself on the ground. James Toney, Francois Botha, Ray Mercer, Rubin Williams, Butterbean & Art Jimmerson where all taken down & submitted in their debut. Technically Jimmerson air tapped because he was so locked down on the ground.

  • @Immortalsyn83 mastery, quality not quantity of skills is what matters to me and I dont need ground game because mobility is the key the western boxer gave up striking with the legs in order to achieve new levels of mobility

  • @Immortalsyn83 they cant take a punch look at cane velasquez the supposedly super mexican oooo he got his ass handed to him in seconds thats not having a chin u want someone with a chin try Julio Cesar Chavez or Jake Lamotta they took full on assaults to the face and head and couldnt be dropped thats a chin....brock lesnars glass chin is an example of how easily defeated an mma guy is upstairs

  • @Immortalsyn83 an ancient muhammad ali so is that the only way a grappler can win by fighting declining fighters like ali and toney please....Dana whiet shit his pants when Hopkins challenged Silva

  • @MrEl7decopas even if its a former kick boxer= mua tai they use 8 points to fight the western boxer sacrificed weapons for mobility it only uses its fists but takes it to a ridiculous level of mastery using legs as mobility rather than attack in mma its the same they use more weaponry but the effectiveness of the weaponry drops as u add more boxers travel lightly but pack a punch simplicity will always win.side steppin defence movement body work enough hooks to the body and youve beaten anyone

  • @MrEl7decopas the key is defence not attack body work and liver punching is quite a way to do it enough punches their and youve cut someones mobility

  • wtf is this

    this is no mma fighter

    put in fedor

    then we will see!!!

  • @94BruceLee EXACTLY!! This guy is maybe a bad kickboxer at best.

  • @lt1bird348 Bad, he hasn't won a single fight in K-1... That's down right horrible.

  • @94BruceLee :D check my channel man :D i got cool mma highlights

  • all you armchair warriors bellow commenting shut the fuck

  • lmaooooooooo I thought the black dude was Tech N9ne for a second

  • And they say boxers can't handle legg kicks video speaks for it's self.

  • @jat52790 Perhaps the leg kicks from a "wrestler" who has never won a single K-1 fight. LOL

  • @jat52790 yes a leg kick from a fat guy

and what happened from a cro cop low kick?

  • I love the Japanese commentator's reaction when briggs knocked him down. He got hard

  • Comment removed

  • Boxing

  • Amazing!!!!!

  • This isn't an MMA event. And, what's up with the "What" shout outs after the fight? Did Briggs just think he fought someone well known? He didn't.

  • imagine mike tyson vs fedor emilienenko both in their prime with ufc rules. wow

  • @cardude1992 I dont think boxers should be in UFC if all they know is boxing. But Tyson? That would have been the best entertainment ever. I would cheer for Tyson...not any other boxer. If Tyson spent a year or 2 in MMA he would own the ring AND the cage. Prime Tyson with only boxing will get owned...unless he landed a punch...then he would be in jail for manslaughter lol

  • @realityIZanILLUSION it would be great though. i mean fedor is the best mixed martial arts fighter ever having a 10 year winning streak that is unheard of. and him vs tyson in their prime omg. their wouldnt be an arena in the world big enough to seat all the people that would come to watch lol

  • I see 2 pathetic boxers with 1 throwing some retarded attempts at kicking. lol Where's the MMA guy? Im 1 minute in the video & I paused to make this comment. I already know that a gay boxing fan is trying to prove that boxing beats MMA so he named this video "Boxer vs MMA" lol & I already know the black dude will win....so lets watch this so called "MMA guy" get beat by a boxer....lol

  • @realityIZanILLUSION lol typical, I guess im psychic lol...if u want to see REAL "boxer vs mma" watch Jimmerson vs Gracie or Toney vs Couture or if u want to see a boxer against a REAL striker watch the many kickboxer vs boxer or muay thai vs boxer. Lol boxing is a joke when faced off against another art. The ONLY place a boxer can win consistently is in the ring where the other guys are NOT allowed to use anything other than punches. If both styles can use ALL their tools the boxer will lose.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION LMAO James Toney is a middleweight who bloated himself up to heavyweight for bigger paydays. Everybody knew he would lose to Randy Couture.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION lol shut your dumbass up you have no clue what your talking about

  • @realityIZanILLUSION Hey dumbass how about you name one top level boxer who has done anything but boxing. You cant. Only fat washed ups and complete bums mma. You have no clue what your talking about and your just another dumbass mma fan who jumped on the bandwagon 3 months ago. UFC has the most pathetic strikers on the planet. MMA= Lowest talent, Lowest paid and least accomplished athletes in the world (If you can even really call them athletes)

  • @cpaignboxing lol you are not qualified to talk to me. Ive been in martial arts longer than u have been alive. MMA is MUCH more difficult to master than boxing. Any bum can master punching. Try mastering the offensive side of punching, kicking, elbowing, kneeing, takedowns & throws, wrestling, submissions, reversals, escapes, ground n pound. Then master the defensive side of all this. Even the best boxer in history with bricks for gloves & shot up with roids will lose 80% of the time in MMA.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION WOW your so fucking dumb. Any bum can master punching? Boxing has bread some of the best athletes the world has ever seen. A lifetime commitment in boxing will not guarantee you a successful career. Mayweather could train mma for 1 or 2 and would be one of the best mma fighters in the world. Where are your undefeated MMA fighters? MMA is a sport dominated by college wrestlers. how pathetic. Brock lesnar WWE/UFC champ HAHA. Rich Frankllin UFC Hall of famer/Math teacher HAHA

  • @cpaignboxing Only boxers think mastering something is more effective than being a jack of all trades lol. Any martial artist (or entreprenuer) can tell u that being a jack of all trades is more effective than mastering something. So u think knowing alot about the least is better than knowing a little about the most? lol u got alot of growing up to do. If mastering one thing was better then Bruce Lee would not have created JKD.Mastering one thing is only good if u want to be eg a boxer.

  • @cpaignboxing thats the difference with boxing & MMA. Boxing is just punching therefore a good puncher can dominate. But in MMA there are more factors. There is punching, kicking, elbows, knees, takedowns & throws, submissions & ground & pound...NOBODY (but a few of the worlds most talented fighters) can dominate & win consistently when all these factors are at play. Anyone can win by any means in any given moment. Its harder to be undefeated in MMA...

  • @cpaignboxing ...an undefeated boxer is nothing compared to an undefeated MMA fighter. Dont get me wrong, boxers are great & boxing is an important part of fighting/MMA but on its own is not as effective. Just like wrestling on its own is not effective or BJJ on its own or muay thai on its own. Each art is limited. To be effective u must have NO limitations, thats why its important to practice ALL areas. When in a fight u dont want to be in a situation where u are not familiar.

  • @cpaignboxing whats wrong with ordinary people being champions? Martial artists ARE ordinary people. They are mechanics, bankers, teachers, actors, writers, sales reps, plumbers, cleaners, dishwashers (Bruce Lee) etc. Brock was a state champ in wrestling. he also trained his punches...what the problem? A state champ in ANYTHING can learn a few more skills & become very effective. Simply put, MMA>traditional martial artist>boxers>bums. Fighting in a ring is soft & safe...a cage is dangerous.

  • @cpaignboxing An MMA cage is where ALL styles go to test their skills. Karate, TKD,Kungfu,BJJ,Wrestler,Aikido,Judo,MuayThai,Kickboxer,Savate,Hapkido, boxer etc practicioners meet in the cage to see who wins...lol then u get pussy boxers who say "come in the ring" lol its a joke. U dont hear Karate, TKD,Kungfu,BJJ,Wrestler,Aikido,Judo,MuayThai,Kickboxer,Savate,Hapkido practicioners say "meet me in my domain" lol coz there is NO point. Its about who wins on a level playing field (MMA cage).

  • @cpaignboxing In MMA a Muay Thai fighter can take on a BJJ guy. a Wrestler can take on a Kickboxer. A Karate guy can take on a boxer. lol Cant u see how stupid it sounds when people say "a boxer will win in a boxing ring". Obviously a Thai Fighter will win in Thai rules, a BJJ guy will win in BJJ rules, a Karate guy will win in Karate rules, a Wrestler will win in Wrestling rules...but who will win when all styles meet in MMA? Thats why it means NOTHING to win in a boxing ring.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION LOL thank you for explaining why MMA is so pathetic. MMA= Outcasts from other arts who cant beat top competition so they transfer to mma and become ok at a bunch of new things. The ring is soft and safe? Maybe you should do some more research there stupid. Boxing is much much more dangerous then mma is. No one wants to get hit in MMA. Done arguing with you case and point MMA=Low talent easily replaceable athletes who will go down in history as lowly cage fighters

  • @cpaignboxing Many MMA stars were former champions of their previous craft, you need elite skills to compete against the best in the world at any combat sport. Nobody wants to get hit in boxing either, the idea of fighting is to hit & not get hit. To be fair a boxer would have very little chance against an elite MMA fighter so that debunks your lowly talent comment. There are several guys making millions in MMA & I highly doubt they care about being labeled "a cage fighter."

  • @cpaignboxing "Outcasts from other arts" lol more like the worlds best martial artists from each art go to the cage to fight to see which style is the best. They train ALL areas to get an edge over the competion. These days people dont step in the cage unless they are good at striking, wrestling & BJJ. Being good at only 1 area & not the other 2 is suicide. The worlds best martial artists go to MMA. Its not a place for pathetic boxers...unless they are willing to adapt. Yeah we done arguing

  • @realityIZanILLUSION Okay lets be real here. Jon jones? The kid has been doing mma for how long? And hes dominating. Matt hughes? Strictly a wrestler and is arguably the most dominant UFC champion ever. The funny part is you have no idea what real striking is. You think the boxing of dan henderson and shogun were top level striking? Even the best strikers in MMA are considered low level strikers compared to top boxers and kickboxers. Even Joe Rogan has said this along with frank shamrock

  • I dunno if I would consider Alistair Overeem a low level striker seeing as he is a K-1 champion. Jones has been wrestling since high school had a great college amateur career in wrestling which he was able to adapt to MMA. It's hard for a pure striker to compete in MMA, if they don't have takedown defense or a solid ground game they end up looking like Pat Barry.

  • @cpaignboxing Those fighters u named train every aspect.Sure each has their strengths but they train everything.Anderson Silva,Thiago Alves,Frankie Edgar,Machida,Shogun,Vitor Belfort are just a few examples of VERY good strikers. You dont need to be a perfect striker to be successful in MMA. Striking does NOT mean boxing,it means all 8 limbs.Yes u right, some MMA strikers are low level compared to traditional styles, not all, so are their grappling skills,so what? Thats what Jack of all trades is.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION O and by the way im done arguing MMA vs Boxing BS. Its just lame at this point. All put it like this. I have respect for fighters that simple. These kind of arguments only start because brand new MMA fans (who have no clue about boxing) Love to act like there some kind of expert

  • @cpaignboxing Well just to make sure ur not refering to me...Im not a brand new fan, I been watching since early 90's when UFC was underground. Now I train MMA,I also train boxing as part of my kickboxing training. Also I wouldnt say im an expert, but I do have 20 years experience including a blackbelt in TKD with local championships, 5 yrs kickboxing with local championships & 2 yrs BJJ. These arguments start because boxing fans diss MMA so when MMA fans counter argue it becomes a problem.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION Well its nice to see you can admit there jacks of all trades masters of none. But what you have to realize is the striking of someone like Machida, shogun and Belfort is low level compared to Pure strikers like Pro boxers and Kickboxers. Dude its ignorant MMA fans who start these arguments. On 99% of boxing vids u will hear nothing about MMA. half the MMA videos have some dumbass who has no clue what hes talking about trying to diss boxing

  • @cpaignboxing Many of them have world championship titles. Thiago Alves, Anderson Silva & Shogun are very good Thai Boxers. They are very capable of holding titles in kickboxing & Muay Thai. Belfort is a good boxer. Both Belfort & Silva have competed in a few pro boxing matches & won. MMA guys respect & train in boxing to sharpen their punches but they dont dedicate ALL their time to it coz pro cage fighting & street fighting requires more than punches to succeed. Some boxers came to MMA...

  • @cpaignboxing ...Ross Pearson has good boxing skills. U got to understand, MMA guys will NEVER punch like boxers or kick like Taekwondo artists, its impossible. They have different stances which competely changes the way they punch & kick. They MUST have a different stance because they use ALL 8 limbs & they sprawl & grapple. Im a TKD blackbelt & even I can admit that I will not be able to kick the same in an MMA fight because its not practical or safe, just like how boxers cant punch...

  • @cpaignboxing ...Any professional in 1 dicipline cannot compete in MMA without adapting & modifying their stance, striking habits & grappling skills. For any dicipline 2 compete in MMA they must adapt.Boxers rarely come to MMA because they have the least overall skills & they are overwhelmed with the amount of new skills they need to learn to be competative. What would happen 2 a boxer if he is taken down in a street fight? MMA guys are prepared for any scenario...to them its more than just a sport

  • @cpaignboxing ...Also,you never see actual MMA fighters diss boxing, they respect it coz they train it.But there are many boxers who have dissed MMA in a VERY disrespectful way, namely Gayfeather & B Hopkins.Hopkins now respects it...he probably met an MMA fighter on the street & had a change of heart. Boxers & their fans talk shit saying "its gay", "Its not a science like boxing", "there will never be any legends like in boxing", "they are underpaid","they are bums"...etc. All inexperienced talk.

  • @cpaignboxing ...Being well rounded is more effective in anything...unless ur doing something that requires specialisaion, in which case ur wasting ur time. Times have changed, its not like the past. Eg employers want people who can do multiple things, entreprenuers must be skilled at MANY things, not just their core business, sportsman now must be good public speakers & role models etc, martial artists must be good at striking, clinch & grappling. Thats what Bruce's philosophy was.

  • @cpaignboxing ...Anyone who is specialised will find themselves in a very bad situation eg if ur specialised in work & the company goes bankrupt u will need to find another company who offers ur position & hopefully get that job. Or if the economy is messed up u may not find a job at all. But if ur a well round person like a salesman, u can work in any industry in any economic cycle. Same if ur selfemployed, u will be in trouble but if ur a good leader, good at marketing & sales u will do good..

  • @cpaignboxing ...Same in martial arts. The worst situation to be in when in a real confrontation is a postion where u have NO power. Its a very bad feeling.Any specialised style is prone to being caught in this situation especially today when everyone is learning to fight thanks to the UFC.MMA prepares u for any situation so u dont get in that bad situation. I rather be good at ALL areas than be extremely good in one. MMA guys can dictate where the fight takes place, this is VERY bad for the boxer.

  • @cpaignboxing ...A boxer cannot take kicks. Their legs are VERY soft & sensative to kicks. 1 or 2 kicks & they will drop to the ground. Kicks are stronger than punches. A boxer may be able to take punches with big gloves but I doubt they will be standing after a nice kick to the leg, body or head. They may even break their arm trying to block a kick to the head. Kicks are like baseball bats if done properly. Thats why Muay Thai dominates stand up. Also knees & elbows are deadly to a boxer.

  • @cpaignboxing ...If a boxer is caught in the Thai clinch they will experience hell. They cant stop a takedown or a submission. All they can do is hope to ko the person before he does anything...they may get lucky & succeed coz theres always a punchers chance. But this is not something to be confident about coz it is very rare. A boxer is extremely disadvantaged. Atleast karate, kungfu, taekwondo,BJJ,wrestling, muay thai, kickboxing has more tools than punches. They have an advantage.

  • @cpaignboxing A professional boxing legend like Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Frazier (rip), Gayfeather etc.. can be beaten by a blue belt in BJJ...thats the sad truth. BJJ was the most dominant style prior to 2000. The Gracie family challenged & accepted challenges for anyone in other arts & they won with ease. The UFC was created originally by the Gracies to prove that their BJJ was the best. They proved that grappling dominates ANY striking art. Now its even more important to know BJJ than to strike

  • @cpaignboxing I hated BJJ at first coz naturally im a striker. I did TKD & Kickboxing. But when I saw how easily BJJ dominated ALL striking arts I started training in it. Truth is traditional styles have an advantage over boxing coz they have more tools, then BJJ has an advantage over the traditional styles. If a boxer had a deadly right cross with death touch capabilities & all he could do is that 1 punch, I would murder him. Knowing the most about the least is not good at all.

  • @cpaignboxing Boxing is great just like any style. But the fact is if a person is well trained in Muay Thai, BJJ & wrestling then they will dominate any other person who trains in only 1 style.Since BJJ alone was able 2 dominate ANY style obviously BJJ + Muay Thai + Wrestling will not only dominate any style but they will also dominate a person who trains BJJ alone. Muay Thai, BJJ, Wrestling AND boxing is a great mix. Its all about being well rounded...u dont want to be caught in a bad situation.

  • @cpaignboxing Being able to beat somebody in a boxing match does not reflect the outcome in a real situation. Its like me telling an MMA guy to come to a TKD comp & only use kicks.I will probably ko some of them but how does that mean anything? Its not something to brag about,"hey im a better kicker than most MMA guys,I can beat them in a TKD match", lol its silly. They will rape me in the street/cage where they are free to use ALL their skills...thats where it counts, not in a ring. im done now :)

  • @realityIZanILLUSION HAHA how childish. Only 10 year olds compare mma and boxing to a street fight. How about i sucker punch the UFC HW champ and KO him? Does that make me a better fighter. Street fights are fought in numbers and cheap shots. Trying taking someone down when there biting you, eye gouging u and trying to break your fingers.Everything thats really effective in a street fight is illegal in the UFC.Boxers are world class athletes not low life street fighters. LOL Grow up little one

  • @cpaignboxing MMA fighting is the closest thing to real fighting, that is obviously clear. lol thats another favourite comment from boxing fans & non martial artists, "Street fighting is different than MMA" lol. They look for any excuse to justify their lack of skills & experience. Dude, before I did BJJ & Kickboxing the only training I had was TKD. From the age 14-21 I got in to MANY street fights. With only my TKD experience I was able to walk away without a scratch. Lol and TKD is SHIT!!

  • @cpaignboxing ..from 21 to 26 I did kickboxing & became even more confident & efficient. Now recently I trained BJJ for 2 years. I dont have any trouble with any BUM off the street in an unarmed combat. Street fighters are pathetic...they have ZERO skills, the only thing they can hope for is a lucky punch. Martial arts is training for the street, u must be smart enough to understand that. Why else was martial arts & self defense created? lol ur more immature & inexperienced than I thought.

  • @realityIZanILLUSION THIS AGAIN?? HAHA MAN Everybodys a fighter on the internet.I would bet my life you have never been in a street fight or even a regulated fight.I'm talking about the sport MMA dumbfuck!! Where you train to compete against other fighters right?Or in MMA are they training to fight in the street? Why are fighters kicked out of the house on TUF when they fight?Same thing right?HAHA Grow up man please. Your watching combat sports for all the wrong reasons u think it makes u tough

  • @cpaignboxing bet ur life? obviously i cant prove my street fights but I do have up to 30 trophies & medals from TKD, Kickboxing & BJJ. As for MMA fights no I havnt had one yet, u know why? coz i rather fight on the street coz its basic compared to fighting a trained martial artist.so ur 1 of those idiots who thinks MMA is just a sport lol, u think learning MMA does not work on the street? The only difference between regulated fighting & street fighting is a hadful of rules eg,..

  • @cpaignboxing ...no biting,no poking eyes,no groin strikes,no small joint manipulation,no back of the head, no throat strikes.Different MMA organisations have diff rules but these rules I mentioned are not allowed in any.So u think a retarded unskilled street fighter has more of a chance at winning because he can use those forbidden techniques? lol Fighting a martial artist is MUCH MUCH MUCH harder than fighting a untrained fighter on the street. u have no clue what martial arts is about lol

  • @cpaignboxing I can tell u have never trained in any martial arts before. Martial arts training provides u with techniques to defend urself in a armed or unarmed life threatening controntation. Its funny how inexperienced people think martial arts dont work lol.Any traditional martial artists will win a street fight 80% of the time.Any MMA trained person will win against a traditional martial artist 80% of the time,so obviously they have a HUGE advantage on the street against an untrained person.

  • @cpaignboxing What makes u think fighting in a cage is any different than fighting on the street? Seriously? Do u think the fact there are no rules means the MMA fighter is disadvantaged? really? Do u honestly think that an MMA fighter can beat another trained MMA fighter but cannot win on the street? lol u must be either really stupid or just inexperienced. U make me laugh, MMA is NOT boxing lol its a mix of VERY effective martial arts. MMA techniques work VERY effectively on the street lol.

  • @cpaignboxing I have NEVER been bitten, I have NEVER had a weapon pulled out on me, I have NEVER been hit with a cheap shot, I have NEVER been hit in the groin, I have NEVER had someone try poke my eyes, I have only twice fought more than 1 person. lol What is a street fight? Its a couple of dudes throwing retarded haymakers without even looking where they swinging,if nobody gets ko'd then they clinch up & start wrestling til they go to the floor while one gets the other in a......

  • @cpaignboxing .....school yard headlock while the other tries to hammer fist the other guys face. lol I have seen this MANY MANY MANY times lol its pathetic. A Muay Thai fighter will destroy a street fighter as long as he can keep it standing. A wrestler will destroy a streetfighter as long as he can take it to the ground, a BJJ guy will destroy a streetfighter if he can get it to the ground. a MMA guy who trains in Muay Thai, BJJ, & Wrestling will win in ANY position in a street fight....

  • @cpaignboxing ...Seriously? what the hell can an untrained fighter do to me? let alone a trained MMA fighter. Ur a fool dude. U need to learn what martial arts is & why it is so advantagous on the street. Then u need to learn what stands MMA fighters apart from traditional martial artsits. Dont make the mistake thinking that if an MMA fighter fights in the street it is as difficult as an MMA fight, lol its MUCH easier & will be over VERY quickly. Street fighting is a JOKE. hahahahahahahaha

  • @cpaignboxing Its funny how inexperienced people think that just because a street fight is NO RULES then automatically the street fighter will win. That cracks me up. Do u honestly think MMA wont work on the street coz of the 5 or so basic rules I mentioned? lol that is hilarious.Like I said they are not boxers or untrained fighters..they are mixed martial artists. The techniques they learn work on the street or in regulated sport fighting. lol Go to ur closest gym & challenge a no rules fight lol

  • @cpaignboxing Heres an example street fight with no rules...the untrained fighter will try to throw bs haymakers until he eats a right cross & drops to the ground otherwise he will be taken down any way, then the MMA guy will mount him & punch his head till it splits open, then he will choke him out, since there is no ref the choke will cause permanent brain damage if held on just a few seconds too long, then he will break his arm then stand up & stomp his head till his brains splatter.hahaha

  • @realityIZanILLUSION And once again another dumbass comment by an idiot whos never been in a street fight. You think an MMA guy just can just choke someone in a street fight. I don't give a fuck if your Brock Gayner, Randy CUNToure, Chuck Fagell or Anderson Shemale, a streetfight hardly means you'll fight one person. Go to ground rub your nuts in the other dudes face, its like your looking for his mates to wrap a pole around your head.

  • @Klash716 he doesn't understand man. Hes just another MMA fan who thinks watching 2 bums street fight makes him tough. Don't even waste ur time with him he doesn't know anything about MMA or boxing

  • @cpaignboxing haha u found a boyfriend? how sweet! So now u start talking that shit about "bums" yeah ur a typical boxing bitch lol. If u got ANY balls what so ever little boy, go 2 ur nearest MMA gym & call out one of their fighters.Boxing is NOTHING compared to other more complete martial arts.If Tyson,RJJ & Hopkins respect it then I think u should too if u respect those boxers.MMA is more complete & effective than boxing alone.Im done with this topic. One day u'll understand

  • @realityIZanILLUSION LOL ur done with this? U just wrote 6 paragraphs!! HAHA MMA is a joke deal with it. Boxing>MMA

  • @Klash716 hahaha another kid who thinks he knows what he's talking about. Out of all form of fighting I would rather face a boxer coz he is the easiest of all. Like I said to the other fool, the greatest boxers in history eg Tyson, Ali, Frazier etc will get owned by a blue belt in BJJ...isnt that sad??? hahaha. If u think fights dont go to the ground then u have not seen enough fights. And NO there are no armbars or triangles in a streetfight but they do wrestle & up in the mount. lol

  • @Klash716 Dude if u are involved in a fight where it is more than 1vs1 then obviously ur the type of idiot who is asking for trouble. I have only twice in my life had more than 1v1. The rest have been 1v1. I dont fuck with groups of people, infact i dont fuck with anyone.Only time I fight is if i am hit or otherwise I provoke the person who is disrespecting me until he hits me then its on.I dont mess with groups or act tough when out with friends. I dont put myself in that situation.
