  • Most elegant VTX on the planet. Plain sex on two wheels.

  • beauty

  • u need new exhaust badly my 1300 makes that thing sound like a type writer

  • @MrCik13 I do not agree. Do you know the 1300 is a single pin crank? The 1800 is offset pin to reduce vibration and produce better power. So they will never sound the same.

  • one pretty bike

  • Love your bike! Will you do another video from the top down? I love your wheels and white wall tires. I have the same bike with a motor trike kit on it.

    Thanks,

    Garrett

  • I am one who really wanted an HD,but just happen to come across my 06'VTX1300R,on a trade deal, and I just love it.The last sportster I had,I had to work on it around every 3 weeks,This thing is virtually maintainance free, and its also a real beauty, keep on ridin'.......

  • Love your X. Where did you get the seat? I'm looking for one for my 2004 1800S.

  • @cchism25 It is a 'Ultimate' brand seat, about this time of year they have a clearance sell.

  • Is that a stock exhaust?

Sounds great, and looks even better. You can color me green with envy.

Enjoy and watch out for idiots who dont watch for us.

  • @bigdaddy1382 Kinda stock...they are off a 'C' modle VTX, and I removed the insides

  • Hi there, it's really nice bike. Can you tell me from where you got your saddle bag and what brand they are ?? Thanks.

  • @emiratiforever Thanks...these are HD Roadking bags on a set of custom brackets I fabbed up

  • Very harley-like -- nice!

  • Hey man, nice bike. I got an 02' 1800 S. Just wondering what kind of ightbar you got there. I want it! haha

  • metric bike, definetly not Harley!!!!

  • metric bike, definetly not Harley!!!!

  • I thank God each day I did not buy a HD !!!

  • @Klattu Amen brother..I was gonna get a vrod but got a 1800f and lovin it.

  • @Klattu amen brother

  • @Klattu every bike is ok since the owner likes it.

  • ive seen and heard one of these in person and they are absolutely bitchin !

  • Nice but I hatedthe sound of the stock pipe and went with at Cobra...

  • VERY NICE! Mines an 03 and looks pretty good too. It's an "R" as well, but I kept my cast wheels. That is one of the best machines I have or ever will own.

  • THAT'S what's happnin!

  • Hey Klattu, Cool Video.

Just stumbled by and had to say Hello.

When I have mine set up with the bags & pipes. I'll post one.

I only have one I actually made on here testing a new camera. Now trying to make it so I can cruise with it.

Catch ya later in our main portal, Phil

  • Don't spend alot of money on a camera...I tried the video mounted on a bracket at windshiel...not much fun to watch. The Dragon kinda makes you sick to watch. Best ones are made with digital camera held in your hand as you ride.

  • I think this is the 1st VTX I've seen with white walls. NIIIIICE! Was gonna get an R, but think I'm going to get an S now instead!

  • This was an 'R' , I swapped rims with someone that wanted cast rims

  • the only difference between and R and the S is the wheels. everything else is the same. earlier models were listed as r/s like mine, its an 1800 R/s as its a retro with spokes. they changed the listing and now the r or s is just the wheel package.

  • Hohoholy shit, damn, I love this iron! :))

  • PL: Ale choinka!

ENG: Like a Christmas tree! ;-)

  • Nice VTX! What light bar do you have on there? Where did you get it? Thanks!

    DJames

  • Thanks, it is the 'new' version of the Honda light bar with the 'old' version lights housings

  • NICE BIKE!!!!

  • VTXOA forums

  • Nice clean looking VTX, good work.

  • NICE!

  • Great looking bike, what 2 into 1 pipe are you running on her?

  • Thanks...pipe is from a stock 'C' model VTX 1800.

Gutted the insides for that sound.

  • This is a beautiful bike! Did it run better after gutting the pipe?? Are you happy with the sound and performance after doing this? Any regrets? Did you have to adjust anything after that exhaust mod??

    Thanks...

  • Thanks...

I only had to buy exhaust gaskets and tap a few areas on backside of pipe with ball hammer.

It sounds as it runs better, but i never timed it or put on a dyno.

The powerful sound forces me to twist the throttle more just to hear, and that makes me think is running better. Nothing was done after pipe, no adjustments or additional parts needed.

If you do the pipe swap, be sure to get the lower cast bracket, it is longer on the 'C'

  • I plan to gut the pipe like you did. Your pipes sound great and i have the same exhaust as you but your bike is a different style. I am not a bike mechanic so I am a little afraid (I do work on cars ALOT tho).

Your advice is valuable, thank you for posting and replying.

  • get your gaskets at Autozone...about $2 vs #12 at Honda

Look at vtxoa forums...many good photos and information for your bike

  • Thanks again for the very helpful info.

  • I just remembered...you already have this pipe...no need to remove the head pipes...the chamber slips off!

Plus you can find these cheap enough to have both stock and modified...and only takes 5 minutes to swap out.

  • Great bike!

  • Wow, that thing is sweet. I love the W/W's with the spokes.

  • nice bike. these bikes are so good. I used to won one.

  • very nice bike Ill bet it rides real nice! Mike

  • what did the crash bar run u

  • About $130 from Honda Directline.

It is a one piece bar, open at bottom.

  • thanks you have a sweet bike i need to do some of what you have done to ur bike to mine i have the 07 love it . i seen this guy going down the highway the other day with a pulsating headlite i could see him for three blocks in the daylight gonna get one of those to later.

  • what size is your rear tire, what brand?

  • Dunlop, stock size, I think is 15"

  • Nice X, where did you pick up those rear turn signals? They are badass.

  • Thanks,

Turns are a combination of LED turns with Keriakin<sp lenses.

The LEDs are donut shape circle with bulb in center.

  • This is such a beautiful bike. I am green with envy.

  • God, those whitewalls make that bike!

  • Those whitewalls are SICK, especially with the spoke wheels. I gotta do that to mine. The Road King bags are way cool,

light bar is sweet, too. What engine guards do you have?

  • Thanks...those are Road King Classic 'soft' bags.

I took a set of tank emblems off and mounted to lids.

Check out the Road King Custom bags too, they look smooth. Found mine on ebay, of course.

  • i have the same bike and was wondering what white walls would look like.sweeet.i gotta ask though....what saddle bags are those? theyre really nice.
