Again, it doesn’t condone it, but states what should happen if such a thing does. Then it says he cannot divorce her. If you always look merely at the literal interpretation, you will never fully understand Scripture. What did Jesus mean when He said "destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up". A literal interpretation misses the mark. And, in the end times interpretation, Jesus is prophesying the destruction of his body, the Church.

The word offspring should be your clue here. I understand where you are trying to take this because Mary is mentioned in Revelation...but you can't distinguish Mary in Genesis when it is clearly Eve.

If God put "enmity" between the woman and the serpent, then there can never be any "friendship", in other words there can never be any sin. Eve, of course, was human and certainly sinned. To kick against the goad means you're fighting against the obvious, just like St. Paul was fighting against the early Church. The Holy Spirit is one of the three persons of the Divine Trinity. Mary is a created human being. They are NOT one and the same. The purpose of the End Times prophecy in Esther is to show that the Antichrist will be defeated through the intercession of Mary. The second part of this series will make that more obvious.

@IsaRefreshingSpirit Yes, the king was "drunk", but in the prophetic interpretation it means that he was filled with the Holy Spirit. It's like the prophet who was required to marry a prostitute. She was a real prostitute but symbolically, the union represented God's union with unfaithful Israel.
