While being chased by a lion, the gang uses the Crystal of Reflection to view their previous adventures and Alan finally learns his long-lost clue from it: An Act of Kindness Where There Is No Light Will Help To Save You From Your Plight. Alan solves his clue by removing a thorn from the lion's paw and finally return home with the kids who decide to destroy the game while Alan and Aunt Nora might get together
