  • For all you losers that defend the jersey shedding pusssy trick that PROBIE USED, WATCH THESE FIGHTS! Fucking Berube beat Probie cleanly whenever his jersey stayed on! This is why Proberts legend is overly exaggerated and guys like Jay Miller were better fighters who didnt need to cheat!

  • berube actually won 3 fights in their and one clearly. 1 win probert and 2 draws overal berube wins

  • craig berube was great, one of the best pound for pound ever, beat some of the best, didnt really beat probert but gave him a run for his money and really went toe to toe with him

  • Berube didnt win one fight here...Most were close with Probert cleary winning 2...Just because one guy goes down first doesnt give the other an automatic win...Berube was tough though no question.

  • Berube was a tough mf'er who gave Probbie a run for the money in every fight.

  • You could at least give credit to the me, the original maker of this video... I mean, I don't mind, but its the least you could do..

  • @khav11 yeah,,, Probert was really tough, as soon as he the jersey came off and he gained an unfair advantage. he would not be nearly the bad ass in today's hockey with the tie down jerseys.

  • @JAYLEE169 i changed my mind actually. dave brown is my choice now

  • @khav11 Dave Brown was a tough cookie alright. i agree with you...

  • @khav11 So 7 months ago u called prober the toughest of all time. then u changed ur mind 3 months ago. I knew you were new to hockey. It all makes sense now.

  • @buttkick22 like i said i changed my mind yes i was with him but i did more research and found that brown is way mor manly and tougher i have been watching hockey since about 1999 2000 im 20 and how old are you? pls you strangely never answered that question are we 17 yo?

  • @buttkick22 and i still consider probert top5 even top3 but not top 1 anymore shithead

  • @khav11 traitor, loser

  • Great video and even greater music! Shit, i'm not a Motorhead fan, but that song fit it perfectly. Good Job!!!

  • Ha ha Who Quit? What ever.

  • @harwicke Berube did. He stopped punching and Probert kept up. After the 27 second mark Berube pretty much stopped throwing and started holding on.

  • Berube wins win the shirt stays on. When the shirt comes off Probert wins.. Pretty clear here.

  • @harwicke I'd love to see the refs let one of these fights go as long as the Probert McSorley marathon.

  • @SCROGY Do you really want to see someone die on the ice?

  • @harwicke What makes you think that someone would die? The truth is that this would have the effect of keeping the fighters and the refs safer. If the fighters go down then yes break it up. But as long as they are standing the refs should stay the hell out until the fighters can't lift their arms. That way the guys that get into fights, throw a few quick ones and then quit wouldn't start fights anymore because they know they aren't getting saved by the refs. Watch Probert-McSorley.........

  • @harwicke ...............the fight was one of the longest ever and at the end they pretty much broke them selves up. No risk for the refs. And no risk of a guy throwing a sucker shot after the refs come in. There would be far fewer fights because the guys with no cardio wouldn't fight any more knowing they'd have to go until they were gassed and there'd be LESS chance of injury. Fewer fights, but much better, longer fights and less cheap shots.

  • two tough fucks

  • Bob Probert died??? I never knew that. When?? How??

  • All rounds are their !! Great job on this video thanks for sharing !!

  • over the long haul berube could not keep up with probert.berube though was very, very tough.

  • Was that 4-1 Probie or 4&1/2-1/2 Probie (because of Browns "turtle ala Lemieux")?

  • @meltz911 first 2 are easy wins for Berube; busted Probert's face up in #1 and landed all the clean punches in #2. What do you call "probie's" undress ala Probie?? Suddenly became a much tougher guy after he made sure he could grab on and the other guy couldn't. When's Probert gonna fight Ken Belanger again? Do you have that one scored 1-0 "probie", or 1/2 to 1/2... because Probert lived through it and only got outlanded 30-0?

  • @justice008a That first fight Berube lost. Again, he landed a couple good shots but like most of Proberts fights the guy gets a few quick ones in and QUITS. Who was holding on at the end? Berube. I love how all these guys try to get the jump on Probert and land a few quick ones and the wait for the refs to come in and save them. "Oooooh, the refs jumped in when Probert was winning.......but I won!" No you QUIT! No one who quits in a fight wins, no matter what they did at the start.

  • @SCROGY Proberts face was a bloody mess after the first fight. I have the whole thing on tape with good quality.

  • @harwicke That's fine. But when you quit it doesn't matter how bad your opponent looks. You quit, so you lost. If I get mounted 3 times, give up side control six times and get my back taken it doesn't matter..............if I submit my opponent, he quits and I win.

  • @SCROGY When tie downs became law in the NHL Probert lost a lot more. That's a fact. Same with Rob Ray & Glen Cochrane.

  • @harwicke Actually they started losing when they got older. Just like every enforcer that ever played the game. NHL fighters seem to lose the "toughness" after about the age of 30 or so. It's like they just can't take a shot any more.

  • @SCROGY Brashear was super tough right until his final season with the Rangers.. He was well over 30 and still kicking lots of asses.

  • @harwicke Brashear was 38 last season, and probably the toughest fighter who ever played in the NHL.

  • @SCROGY ur an idiot, its not that when you hit ur mid to late 30's u get weaker. After years and years of kicking ass u do get tired of it. U dont have that same rush of adreneline. The older guys dont wanna go toe 2 toe, they're lookin for that one big knock out punch

  • @SCROGY I think he quit because he was tired of Probert's blood getting on him. That can be rather unpleasant and make you want to quit.... punishing the guy that is, especially when Berube likely knew Probert was a drug addict and didn't want to catch anything. Hard to score a loss when Berube's opening the guy up with every punch

  • @justice008a Whatever dude. That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. He quit. Deal with it. Hard to win when you quit like a dog. Anyone that quits, loses, no matter what they've done in the fight. You can be kicking my ass all night long but if I submit you (ie you give up), you lose. End of story.

  • @SCROGY LOL if Berube quit here, what was Probert doing in the first fight with Dave Brown?? What about his first fight with Jim McKenzie?? or second one for that matter.... don't just talk shit to try to get a rise out of me; these fights were more than 20 years ago man, but I can see that Probert was more of a quitter than Berube ;)

  • @justice008a It wasn't Probert that was holding on in the first Brown fight it was Brown. Probert was trying to get his hands free but Brown was holding on. Probert was always known for being patient and biding his time. It was usually the other guy holding on. Watch his fight with Dean Kennedy. Probert did nothing for a full minute. Now, had the refs stepped in BEFORE Probert started everyone would be saying: "Oh Probert lost". That's why I say the refs should let the fights go.

  • @justice008a So many fighters in the NHL try to land a few quick ones and then hold on for a win. Some have made a career out of it (cough......Mick Vukota cough). You find out who the best fighters are when the refs let it keep going. That's why I don't think Domi won the first fight with Probert either. He CLEARLY quit fighting while Bob was still punching.

  • @justice008a I guess that's why Berube ended up losing pretty much all of these fights right? The only one I'd cleanly give to Berube is the third one.

  • r.i.p Bob Probert !!!!! thanks for the memories

  • yeah proberts sweater coming off always gave him the edge, how can you grab and jab, thats why rob ray always slid his off.

  • Berube held his own..always liked that guy.

Probert's sweater coming off ALL the time defintely gave him an edge.

  • Probert only beat Berube when he got out of his jersey.

  • Not as great a battle as those between Ray and Domi but still fun to watch.

  • Probert was great but he used the gimmick of pulling his arm out of the jersey. That always gave him a very big advantage. Without that he would have lost a lot more. Much like Rob Ray.

  • @harwicke absolutely agree...its like they discovered that move and nobody else could figure i out!

  • @filthynumber1 Exactly, and people want to cry because no one else could do it. Tough shit. They found an advantage and used it. That's part of fighting. I would argue that Sandy McCarthy's tactic of putting his head down and throwing was far CHEAPER. Hey Sandy, why not just wear a full face helmet and fight?

  • @harwicke Yeah, and his opponents always used the gimmick of landing a few quick ones and holding on until the refs jumped in. Why not let them go until one guys is BEGGING the refs to jump in? Like seriously, let it go until the guy can't even breathe. I'll tell you why, because Probert would have KILLED half the so called tough guys in the league if they did that.

Had the refs learned to let fights go until one guy was completely trounced their jobs would have been far easier.

  • great compilation but very shitty music

  • i like the old days were

u throw some u take some

    none of this hugging shit

  • 2 wins, 2 losses, 2 draws for each

  • berube hit him clean in the face in that first fight and probert didn't seem to even feel it.

  • He felt it. It just makes him throw harder punches. Watch any of his fights it's the same story. Whenever Probert gets tagged, he just takes a bigger "backswing" on his punches. The guy is just plain scary.

  • I mean was there anyone Probie didnt fight? his resume is unmatched, toughest fighter ever, Period!!

  • Cheers to both fighters... as a lifelong Wings fan I always wanted Probie to win, but these are two of the absolutely greatest fighters ever.

  • Probert, the heavyweight champ of all time. Gotta admit that Berube always held his own though. Those were the good old days.

  • what´s song?

  • the game by motorhead

  • Chiefs my man!

  • omg they don't like each other

  • The chief, always game.
