  • now i discovered this song ...:X:X:X:X..and like like....

  • Always loved Tom Scott's work. Back to the Steely Dan solos and everything. Random and apropos of nothing ....in these younger days he sure does look like John Lithgow's double!

  • Increible

  • Nice... thanks! Does ANYBODY have any live Tom Scott w/ Vinnie on video?? (aside from GRP Super-live...)

    Thanks!!

  • Alex Acuna on drums?

looks like him.....never heard him play so chilled....very nice!

  • @eskimoposh

Wolfgang Schmid, Alex Acuña, Tom Scott, Francis Coletta & Joe Sample

  • Yeah right! Tom Scott is such a very talented musician. thanks n keep posting.

  • whoa, is that an EWI Tom's playing?

  • No, it's a Lyricon, Tom had the first production copy (Dave Sanborn had #2). Today's WX-5 is a descendent.

  • Great song used on the Weather Channel.

  • Is that Joe Sample on keyboards?

  • It looks like Joe Sample, but it doesn't sound like him...

  • That is, indeed, Joe on keys. He's one of those rare cats that, when playing the Rhodes gets a sound all his own on it. I recently read an interview with Bob James talking about how difficult it is to get a 'personal' on that axe, but that what he liked about the Rhodes is that if you adjust your technique & touch it can be done. I think both he and Joe Sample are great examples of that. Maybe the ONLY cats to have ever mastered it. Great as he was, even Bill Evans couldn't manage it.

  • Jeah, great! Tom Scott is awsome!

    Great lyricon solo!!
