The man had a vocal gift from god, like know one before him. And of course, know one after him either. I have ALWAYS, loved singing & listening to his music, as i'm a singer myself. And many folks out there, have told me, i sound like Luther when i sing. I consider those compliments, a great honor, in being compared to someone of his vocal stature. I also hear a lot of; "Not bad for a white boy, you have A LOT of soul when you sing". However, i'm always "floored", everytime i hear that one...LOL
