  • Nice vids you have

I have the same car but what engine do you have??

I want that bonnet with that air scoop, cause i like that really much

    Greetings from Germany

  • What town in CT? I live near a Green Road that's in the woods.

  • i had a 97 subaru impreza outback sport......that car went anywhere mud snow u name it.......subaru's r awsome

  • Is is a stock outback? Not modified?

  • i was at a 4wheeler race in goshen, in. a couple weeks ago, parked in a soybean field, it rained, 95% of ppl were stuck. the vehicle that handled it best out of all was a new legacy. the guy was flying through the stuff it was great

  • can someone tell me the name of the song plz ?

  • can someone tell me the name of the song plz ?

  • what's the song called ?

  • im not an expert....but im pretty sure thats not ac dc ???

  • @Birdcage67554 HAHA that's what i was thinking aswell!

  • your missin all the good holes

  • I do this kinda stuff in my legacy all the time, Never has any problem getting anywhere. Just the clearance is the only thing that stops it.

  • Looks like he cooked the engine because that smoke ain't coming from water hitting the exhaust, its coming form the exhaust itself.....

  • Coolness

  • were is this in ct i must know now i live in ct and i have an explorer itching to get a little dirty

  • Whats that song?? please replay :)) p.s. great video

  • what is that soing

  • i got the same one!

  • I have an subaru two. Legacy '95 2.0 flat. The car is a dream. Lifted by 5-6 cm. it is a fuckin plane. I do race, off-road ... all the package. Japaneese cars rules. Over even germans.

  • that is not offroading buy a ford and go off roading not around the puddles but through them a subaru is a car with many weak points to many to list here I would know I have totaled 3 of them with my ford

  • @TheFord429 the point of offroading is to pick the correct line which lets you get through that particular part of trail, which often means that driving through every puddle you see is a bad idea.

  • @TheFord429 in europe ford are considered the weakiest cars, broke all the time. and big ass engines, like americans have, we cant have, they are illegal, they polute. USA causes a 1/3 from global polution. who needs a v8, 8127 cm3, pick-up to go to the work, just you and your purse? americans. in my country, and all the normal world, they consider that a 2000 cm3 engine is a pretty big engine, it runs on 6-7 liters(1.5 galons) diesel, or 8-10(2.5 gal) liters of gas on 100 km (70 miles).

  • @TheFord429 Japan can squeeze from a 2000 cm3 350 horses (stock). if they want more power, they go turbo. if americans want more power, will made it super-large. super large (cola, beaf, fries, sandwich) and tiny, super-small brains and genitals.

When the petrol is gone, they shoot afgans, arabs, taiwans...greedy fuckers. i hope you will choke

  • @cecenoo as for this part of your post all of the groups you list messed with the us first america was founded on the principal that we will defend our self the japanise bombed us. so we bombed them afgans harbored terorists that killed americans so we went over there. taiwans we have never messed with them I dont think. arabs I dont think we should be over in iraq thats just a big mess

  • @TheFord429 you souldn't believe everything your tv says. US is an imperial state, like russia and any another country that wanted to conquer the world. I don't say that you are the opression. your country, full of blind patriots is doing it. And someone, never the simple american, will gain a lot from that. You are just ignorants. Rokofeler, Rothchild ... are some very wise buisness men. You should question averything u hear.

  • @cecenoo you have a point but niether of my trucks go to the store or carry a purse as you can see from my video they are work horses 430,000 miles ( never seen an import with that many miles on it and still reliable and im a mechanic ) I use my big v-8 for torque to haul my tools and equipment in my mobile repair buisness on a regular basis I drive all over the rocky mountains where it is 6% grade some times more a little engine would not last long

  • @TheFord429 I'm not even a mechanic and I have seen many with high miles like that(owned a few of them). Quite reliable. It all depends on how you treat them. I've seen many V8 trucks that die out before they even hit the 150k mark because of how poorly they were treated, but the same can be said for any car.

  • What town is this in?

  • why it is smoking

  • subarus are the shit.

  • what town is this in...

  • this is the gayest video ive ever seen on youtube.

  • that's not an outback...

    that's an OffRoad :D

  • I'm getting a Impreza Outback as soon as i sell my 3000GT...

  • DUDE, i don't even want to hear about transam's and big trucks, DONT EVEN GO THERE... We'll see how your transam does when it hits a patch of black ice at 140... Subaru has it all!!! Fuel economy (and i'm referring to a 4wd heavy station wagon), power, FULLY SYMETRICAL allwheel drive (let's see your truck on dry pavement in 4wd at 180 [Didn't think so]), comfort, and the differentials are BETTER capable of distributing torque than ANY vehicle EVER... Don't even go there, SUBARU KILLS ALL

  • Ha i have the same year and color. Is it a 5 speed?

  • Shit, me and my cuz have taken his trans- am more offroad places than most trucks will ever see in their lives. Just so you know a transam is a beast in the mud, just keep your speed and almost nothing will stop you, although he has broken off his whole front valence piece by piece, so we cut it off smooth before we repainted it....lol

  • we call those dirt roads in nc

  • so how do i get here? i need directions. i wanna go tomorrow

  • im in east CT where is it.??

  • I have a 1996 Subaru outback.. and my question is with not mods what is the biggest tires i can put on it and nothing rub? thanks

  • @kkoch0002

As far as I can tell, you can upgrade to 22 or 23 inchers; though, it may be possible to go larger. To allow for better clearance with little modification, through a body lift kit on. All it does is add spacers to the tops of your shock towers.

  • duuude, i so need to come mudding in my 98 with you guys.. this road looks fucking sick!!

  • Just got a 97 Yesterday, and posted a little drifing in snow vid. Great Job man. I love the location, and you really show its potential.

  • ok well i live in ct and crave mud were is green road?

  • What's the name of the song please?

  • I would love to live out there. Does it snow often?

  • um yeah, its connecticut

  • Well okay then...

  • that is probably the creepiest forest I have ever seen. Cool vid, too.

  • outbacks are fun

  • Green Road in Coventry? Nice vid

  • can you go off roading in a Subaru car? what are Subarus even made for?

  • The older subarus are excellent off road. I assume they were made safe driving in winter or wet conditions, while still getting good gas mileage. ;)

  • new ones are even better

  • I don't get where the offroad is... This looks like my driveway... Looks like a good time you guys had keep it up.

  • pretty impressive for a STOCK CAR WITH NO LIFT.

  • Where's the part where it actually goes OFF THE ROAD?

  • you call that a road?

  • Yea I do. The alley behind my house is way worse than that.

  • scabby fuck lol

  • obviously its pointless, a hood scoop that is non functional. As in its for looks. It does not actually have a hole in the hood, there is a plastic cover, covering the inlet. There is no benefit. And as far as not knowing much about cars.... You just pointed out obvious things that even the most non-mechanically inclined would know.

  • "This is considering of course, that the hood scoop goes under the engine and doesn't just stop at the hood. I'm 99.9% sure the hood scoop on the 1st Gen Outbacks went to the engine bay." You clearly can't read. My answer was completely predicated on the fact that nothing was blocking the inlet. I was unaware that it was non-functional. I know the 1st Gen Outbacks weren't turbo, wasn't aware that they blocked the inlet. They could have just ran it under the hood.

  • The hood scoop on a Subaru (turbocharged) is to air cool the intercooler Mr. Mechanic

The air inlet for the intake is left of the hood lock latch

That hood scoop has nothing to do with ram air, as it is nowhere near the intake

Mess around with Subarus some more, because you obviously didn't mess around at all

  • hahaha, really? funny, i thought the hood scoop on my subby was for the intercooler that resides on the top of my engine....then again, i could be wrong..;)

  • lmao u really have no clue about subarus do u ??? on a non turbo subday the air box does go under where the scoop wud be but on a turbo under the scoop is the intercooler and it feeds iot cold air!

  • i love subarus

  • I think I'm getting this as my first ride, pretty much the only car I like under $4k.

  • lol

  • I am sorry but that is hardly off roading, you even missed the nice big puddle between 50 seconds and a minute. Rallying at best. I'm currently driving an outback legacy, in the rocky mountains we have off roadin with boulders, mud, steeps you name it. I take it on some of those trails but personally as a Jeep owner before this I would take a Jeep over a subby anyday. I'm kicking myself I didnt go back to Jeep but I still love my outback andit's gotten me threw alot

  • ..culda got a JEEP

  • How much did it cost to clean up all that mud in the engine bay and between the panels? :P

  • where in CT is this?

  • Where can I find roads like that :(

  • Conneticut?

  • personally I think the 1st gen outback has the best outside design - it looks more rugged than the current OB and has the hood scoop, unlike the 2nd gen

  • to bad the hood scoops are non functional, being that they are non turbo....pointless?

  • In a way. Not really though. You clearly don't know much about cars or you wouldn't be saying that. The more a car breathes the more power you can produce. It's simple the more air going under the hood, the more air the engine has available to suck in. The car also can achieve cooler running temperatures. This is considering of course, that the hood scoop goes under the engine and doesn't just stop at the hood. I'm 99.9% sure the hood scoop on the 1st Gen Outbacks went to the engine bay.

  • Yeah the hood scoop is chill.

  • best car ever

  • Like to see a Ford Tortise drive down there! Come on the Subaru!!

  • alright, i love subaru, but don't be dissing FORD, the mac daddy of trucks, ive driven one for two years now, and am currently driving a ford escape (seeing that they were my dads cars) i am now going to college, and am thinking of buying my own subaru outback for the good gas mileage (something im not used to) but never the less if i could afford the gas i would be the first one in line for a ford F-150 (cuz they will kick any other truck makers ass)

  • The movie was great and the comments were good until someone had to go and say something stupid.

  • i have that car! same everything.

subaru is a great depnedable rough terrain vehicle. by no means is it an off roading machine but personally speaking, from where i am from we have snow 6 months out of the year and thirty below temperatures, my subaru starts right up when i need it to and can fucking bog through any snowy condition that's been thrown at it.

Subarus can stand up to the small truck class.... i personally pulled a ford ranger with my red 1998 subaru legacy outback.

  • Yeah Subarus rocks! I pulled a Ford Freestar stuck with my 1998 impreza outback

  • my outback cut a concrete powerpole in half 2day nd could still drive after

  • So that's offroading in Connecticut? I would have driven my Ford Taurus down that road without hesitation. But I guess if you had fun...

  • that road looks good enough to take a ride from bristol to. is it still good in the snow or does it get sketchy?

  • So ur Subaru wants to have fun? but theirs no Snow. any Subaru will substitute for some MUD !

    LOVE SUBARUS!

  • right subaru can go where other trucks cant... there not that good... and with speed you wouldnt get stuck in that and like to see it in some ruts

  • true...i dont consider this an offroad vehicle...its a car for tuf road conditions and in some cases rally raccing....but not offroading...offroading...is alot more then just driving through puddles

  • i fuckin know it aint offroading... its called a fuckin name dumbass... i fuckin do serious "offroading" in trucks made for it, and ps. this was some ladys subaru that i found in her woods and she had adbandoned so all i did was get it runnin, slap some plates ion it and beat the piss outta it

  • you "just found that in the woods"?

are there any more? do you have directions?

  • he stole it

  • @bombardierrider Either you have some anger issues, or fuck is a word you use casually... or this was a long time ago.

  • @BigJ2008youngmoney Yea asshole! Who ever said you were the king of off-roading anyway? Jerk off. Why don't you get an education or whatever they call it now-a-days and come back with a real comment while the real men scream and holler and hide behind screen names like real tough guys do?

Gotta love it when the name calling comes out on youtube. Separates the men from the sheep, which, I hear, the sheep really appreciate. My 98 Leggy GT can navigate that stuff too.. Piece of shi...

  • @BigJ2008youngmoney id like to see your civic do that ;D

  • @BigJ2008youngmoney technically it is offroading seeing as its off the actual road, just saying

  • the only thing that u need to have a subie is petrol.

  • go subaru! I've got an impreza and I do the same. Subaru can go where other cars and trucks can't. Nice vid :)

  • why r u guys muddin wit street tires

  • Because we can!

  • Awesome vid, where in CT are you guys?

  • Don't forget to wash the mud off the rims

    RT

  • Oh, I love the Outback! I hope I can find a road like that sometime! Check out my stream crossing video above!

  • Subarus are great, as you can see in these mud hellholes. Just a technical point: I see, like, roads. No "off-road" here. Subarus do great off road, as i know from experience, and they beat the crap out of American SUVs.

  • what's the name of the song ?

  • Highway to Hell.

  • Subarus are great. i really like these 1st gen Outbacks.

You should watch my Volvo V70XC off road videos :P

  • wat town in CT is this im from CT

  • well i can also pass this track with my old 84 renault 4 tl...

  • And I with my old Passat (like the road on 1:28) but I have to admit, this Outback had better ground clearance and the waters it cross I wouldn't dare taking my Passat into. Also it has an excellent grip in the last scenes, in the curve, my Passat would glide into the trees I'm afraid ... I like Subaru but I would like a diesel in them and a 'workers' car, maybe a Forester van or something like that.

  • thanks man, you just made me love my 98 outback even more!

  • same here! amazing little creature is the only way to describe a subaru

  • Subaru and Wy. winter-the right combo! Wind, ice and snow don't faze em! Drove ours up hill on hard ice with water standing on it and no chain even! Phenominal car! When things are REALLY bad tho the 79 Chev. with the v-bar on front and heavy service double cross chain on back pretty hard to beat! Put another log on the fire when it gets that bad and dont go! Good video and tru story!

  • omg omg omg omg i love subarus theer sooooo coool

  • Done that with my subaru, suprises the hell out of guys with 4X4 pick-ups that are stuck!

  • Dude, I took my Subaru on a trail and afterwards I realized it was a 4X4 trail. I asked a guy if he thought that a subaru could make it up that trail. He said no, boy was he wrong.

  • subarus are frgin good

  • I'd like to see a 4x4 that gets 28mpg though, like the Outback.

  • and take a corner at a descent speed with out rolling lol. Subarus are simply the BEST!!!

  • Audi A4 2.0T Quattro ;)

  • a 1987 dual range gets 40 with full diff locks. I run one...

  • subaru rządzi this is super model!!

  • Now that, in my opinion, is what the Subaru Outback is meant to do! Nice job, and AWESOME SONG!

  • absolutely right.

  • Good Job, Nice Music, Subaru Rocks!!!

  • Ive got an outback now, yea it would be fun but minimum wage dont cover wheelin no more.

First vehicle was a Grand Caravan AWD, open exhaust, man was that a mud flingin beast :)

  • ha i know how you feel

  • Nice! Can't wait to try out my 08 2.5i. Thanks for not using pussy-rock (like all these kiddie vids i've seen) for the music also!

  • no roads

    no problem

    subaru

  • i suddenly love my outback a whole lot more than i did before! i gotta find some mud...

  • Russian expressway? LOL

So did you spill your soda?

  • SUBARU HAVE NOT LIMITS... ROCKS¡¡

  • Yeah, subes can take a heck of a thrashing.

  • gotta lovem!

  • Very nice - I do the same very often :-)

  • Hahahah!! God thats funny and cool...

And all the steam is from the mudd/water hitting the exhaust!!

  • hell i'd do the same tihng its just a subaru and the company says thier made to do that.i saw one comment that some kid said subarus are luxury cars and that thier not made for offroading. Lmfao and this shows why i hate subarus good video though

  • do it with a mini van!!

  • looks like a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust pipe... is the the final trip before you have to put it down?

  • Smoke is from cool water hitting hot parts on the car. It's not coming from the exhaust, just trailing behind the vehicle.

  • very impressed

  • I love my outback!

  • i have a 90 subaru legacy AWD and i live in MN i park my 4 wheel drive truck and drive the car in the winter. i can also go through more snow and mud then my brothers f150

  • i live in CT, and have a 98 subaru outback. im in southington area, not much fun...

  • is that in burlington

  • no its in Ellington on Green Rd

  • It may have the clearance for Green Road, but you need something with a little more nut for Soapstone...

  • Ive done Soapstone lol

  • The vid was awesome. That little car gets it ON!

  • That's offroad?

  • Got to love AWD

  • And Subaru!

  • The road looked more like The Highway FROM Hell!
