  • Pike's Pike was also called "the Ledo" and "Stilwell" road. Anyone here knowledgeable about Myitkyina. Anyone read Romanus, R Sunderland's Official Military History of the CBI: China, Burma India? Or the China Tangle? ETC?

  • My Father was engineer on Ledo road, and remember him saying he was at Myitkyina. Only thing he told me about Burma was how they used dynamite to fish for Fridays dinner. Other than that, he did not care to discuss.
