Hmmm....that was a strange cut of that opening. What i mean was i have watched that intro a hundreds times sepretly or witht he serise in english or japanese (i love both) and there it was cut with footage from the serise, whent here already was footage for the intro.

The bit where Ani and Uni are riding the plane is from Dominion Conflict, and the bit where Bonepart is about to be crushed is from the first Manga... but I haven't seen these scenes in any video form. Where do this clips come from? Where they clips from videos which were never released?

They were probably just specifically created for the opening, since this opening is much more fluid animated than the rest, etc. Not that uncommon in japanese anime.

Give it time and I'm sure Shirow will reincarnate Dominion, he's just making a bundle on Ghost in the shell and Appleseed at the moment so probably sticking to the sure thing, both those series were more popular all in all then Dominion after all.

Tank Police has been brought back fairly recently. I can't remember what the series was called but it's all CGI, like the last appleseed film was. Rumour has it that it blows. Shame, I love this series. Then again, I wasn't that impressed with the last appleseed adaptation. The OVA from the late 80's was way better.
