Michael Anthony really does sound like just a cool guy, a regular dude, 'ya know- not affected at all. A musician who loves to play, and sing- doesn't need the money that bad I'm sure...none of these guys needs to do this...Really like Satch's tone on what I've heard...Hagar, love him or hate him, sounds like he's in the garage with Montrose....

I tried to buy Chickenfoot tickets but they sold out immediately...

It seems there is a trend for me on not seeing Sammy Hagar.

I was a Sammy fan and if you compare the voices, Sammy is a much better singer than Dave ever was or could be. Eddy is very talented but he's to blame for the band's problems over the years. I had always heard it was Eddy who told Michael Anthony that he was out. If Eddy, Al, Michael & Sammy were back together, I'd beg, borrow or steal the money to go. I don't care to see them now. Most of their hits were with Sammy and they aren't playing any of those in the latest concerts.

I'm tired of hearing about Sammy !! We all love Mike but the classic Van Halen is what the majority wants and Eddie ruins it for the fans by not having mike there. Anyone that saw VH in 1978-1979 saw the best band ever. If you weren't there..you don't know.

Van Halen or Hagar or something like that. They had a bunch of kick ass tunes back then. There were other folks in that band. Whatever happened to those guys? Didn't they go out on some kind of tour? I want this band to be good but i have nothing but doubt. Its mainly satch im worried about because i play guitar. After surfing with the alien they let him have all the control with his music and its just messy with heeps of effects. So yeah and hes good. But i have real doubts.
