I keep trying this because i want to make a sock monkey, but I'm new to knitting and having trouble controlling my needles and as it only calls for 7 stitches to start with and that few of stitches is floppy. Can you please suggest anything that might help me get started easier?
@gigglebox102 this question was driving me crazy until after I reviewed a few dozen videos...hold the working and tail ends together. The empty needle goes into the tail end and use the working end to start kniting. Geesh I just confused myself but try it as I descrbed and good luck...I FINALLY got my circle to join.
darn! just wish your video was filmed from behind your work form the beginning, especially during the most important parts : ( bummer! its difficult to see your stitches at a forward angle, but otherwise your information you share is very useful =)
Thank you, you make this look so easy! I've never been able to figure it out just from a diagram in a book/magazine before!

Thank you! I have knitted and crocheted for years, but never used double pointed needles! I always avoided patterns that called for them.
Your video made it so easy! I stopped and knit, stopped and knit, until I got it!
thanks also to gigglebox102 for her tip!
