I think the bf3 beta environments destructibility has been toned down for gameplay reasons

Ive been playing BF3 beta, as a newcomer, and it didnt work like this. Some waals did go down, but its not like you can get an entire wall, if i shot the right side, it goes down, left however stay up. i really hope almost all walls break in the full game, cause a house of five floors breaking would be awsome

Lately when playing this game I just ignore the objective and spend all the time destroying buildings on the map. One time I managed to destroy all the buildings on the whole map and pretty soon no one had anywhere to camp or hide. We won the match.

Someone should make a compiled video for c4 maniacs. This video coupled with some info from other videos helps in fully understanding where to place c4 in buildings for efficient demolition. In this vid specifically, what you need is the 70% and plant high bit. Then look for the other videos in where to specifically place the c4 for each specific buildings. From there, you can probably do some of your own testing to find the most efficient c4 placement.

with the C4 you only need 3 blocks to take down a house, even if all the walls are still there. Plant them on the celling, in 3 opposite corners on the ground floor.

No, the building at the end can be brought down with only 4 C4 charges.

There is a vid by some other guy showing you how to do it, search "fastest way to c4 buildings" and you will find it.

i think you may want to add in that in port valdez's barn can collapse, and it collapses quite easily as well.

Actually the entire building can be brought down with six C4. It is very effective to Plant the C4 and then set the charge to get the majority of their team to defuse and then bring the building down on them.

@RealH0rr0rsh0w The large building does collapse although it is not a recommended fast route to destroying the m-com. Im not sure exactly what you have to do but we had two tanks raining in missiles on it wiht people throwing nades everywhere as we were getting hammered and eventually it went down. But as i said it is a lot quicker and easier just to try and arm the charge as destroying it takes a hell of a lot of firepower...
