What kind of a stupid question is that? Jews first came to Europe as IMMIGRANTS and SLAVES. We know that from the historical records. The covenant at Sinai, which also includes the oral law that defines who is a Jew, was never rendered null and void by either Christianity or Islam. Actually, anthropology is not certain of this at all. As I said, some believe semitic culture came from Ethiopia, and some think it came from Mesopotamia. But "Semitic" is not a race. Its a cultural/linguistic group. Semitic language and culture spread to many different indigenous peoples who don;t necessarily have the same ancestry. Ethiopia is considered Semitic, but obviously their ancestors or different than Arabs, Jews, Aramaeans, etc.

What kind of a stupid question is that? Jews first came to Europe as IMMIGRANTS and SLAVES. We know that from the historical records. Their culture, customs, language, etc. remained largely middle eastern for centuries, and so does their DNA. Of course there were some converts and intermarriage. Any convert would have to seek out Jewish communities to live in, and other Jews for a mate, so converts would just be absorbed into the larger "tribe".
